This is the one to watch this weekend. Im gonna give that pass system a try. It'll be worth $3.

Hope France are a bit more competative than poor Wales. But it's important they face each other to improve.

England beat France 44-6 in rugby league

England rugby league coach Steve McNamara was far from fully satisfied after his side's 44-6 thrashing of France at Hull's New Craven Park on Saturday.

Victory in this latest end-of-season triangular match followed last week's 80-12 pounding of Wales in Wrexham, although just how such lopsided results will help England close the gap on superpowers New Zealand and Australia when they stage next year's World Cup is open to question.

Kallum Watkins scored three tries and Sam Tomkins and Tom Briscoe two apiece while Kevin Sinfield also crossed and kicked six goals.

All France had to show for their efforts was a first half Kane Bentley try converted by Thomas Bosc.

Although England outscored France eight tries to one, former Bradford boss McNamara drew a soccer analogy to explain his side's failure to make even more of their chances

"My assistant James Lowes said we were trying to play like ****nal and walk it in, when we should have been playing like Stoke and going direct," he said.

"We could have run the ball and gone direct rather than passing. We were just overplaying, but credit to the group for scoring as many points as they did.

"I am delighted with their approach and attitude. We were not perfect, but we will hope for a perfect finish next week."

England and France meet in the final next weekend in Salford.

The Poms just don't have any competition over their side of the world to play Internationals maybe they should stick with trying to beat the exiles

Well its better for Wales and France to play England. We need that competition. But Wales without Crusaders in SL is a big blow. And France needs Toulouse in SL.

Maybe one day we could have a competitive northern hemisphere triangular competition.

I cant see the Exiles lasting, mainly considering how much respect the players themselves hold for the fixture. Very little.
