The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans Awards Night is the feature event of the Titans season. Headlining the event is the Paul Broughton Medal, awarded to the player judged to be 'Player of the Year'. Attended by players, sponsors, club members and fans, this is a very special evening for the club as we recognise the exceptional achievements that the team has made on the field and in the community. The event is also streamed live on the Titans website for added reach. Enjoy a delicious 3 course meal with beverages including beer, wine, spirits and soft drink and dance the night away with a live band performance.

There's no doubting Nate Myles is the leading contender for it. But I tend to think David Mead has come along in leaps 'n bounds this year. Especially in his defensive game. Just a bit of a bummer he didn't get a full season 'n had to sit out some of it on the sidelines with a busted jaw.

Dave had a decent year and his defence is alot better than i thought it would ever be but im furious at how the squad implements the wingers in the game.

Myles has just been a revelation and will be a most deserving winner.

Cant wait to have that Maroon forward back injection with Ash, Nate and Taylor. Wow.

My antenae have perked up at how they posted this on their facebook. I swear usually it is headlined PAUL BROUGHTON MEDAL or DINNER.

Titans facebook assures that "It's the Titans Awards Night featuring the Paul Broughton Medal."

Traditionally it has been called and promoted as the Paul Broughton Medal, so this looks like a shift in gears to me.

dont forget an origin series win and Wally Lewis medal for player of the series... maybe his highest accolade when you consider the players in that team and indeed both teams this year

Oh thats right! I forgot about the Wally Lewis Medal! That's a huge award. And yes. That amazing Origin series as well. Too bad we couldn't have thrown in a Final Series with the Titans or a Premiership.
