WYNNUM Manly looks unlikely to have to face Tweed Heads Seagulls enforcer Ryan James in the ISC preliminary final this weekend.
James has today been hit with two charges by the QRL match review panel.
The Titans contracted prop received a Grade 3 dangerous contact charge for his fourth minute tackle on Redcliffe Dolphins skipper Chris Farrell.
He was also charged with detrimental conduct (Grade 2) over a separate first-half incident.
If James takes an early plea on the dangerous contact charge, he will serve a three-match ban and miss the remainder of the 2012 Intrust Super Cup season.
An early plea on the detrimental conduct charge carries a one-match suspension.
However, James and his club may yet elect to contest the charges at a judiciary hearing on Thursday night.
Wynnum Manly?s Tim Natusch has been charged with Grade 1 tripping following the Seagulls? win over Norths last weekend but he will be free to play in Sunday?s match against Tweed.
