    Riley Buchanan started in the front row for the for the Bilambil Jets in the NRRRL U18 Round Fifteen local derby against the Cudgen Hornets with Riley Buchanan making a great return from the opening kick-off of the match to get the ball out to the thirty three metre mark. Riley Buchanan then made another strong kick-off return in the 10th minute to bring the ball out to the twenty two metre mark.

    Riley Buchanan then made a strong Hornets goal line drop-out return to take the ball forty three metres out to get the ball back to the twenty metre mark in the centre of the field. Riley Buchanan then followed up with another good kick-off return in the 26th minute to get the ball to the twenty metre mark in the centre of the field.

    Round Fifteen of the NRRRL U18 competition for the Lower Clarence Magpies against the Kyogle Turkeys saw AJ Hickling start at left centre and score in the 20th minute through a strong run from ten metres out to score in the left corner after the Magpies had spun the ball from a scrum win on the opposite side of the field.

    AJ Hickling also recorded a line break to almost score in the 18th minute from twenty seven metres out and to the left of the dummy half with AJ Hickling breaking three tackles, including one as a result of a counter clockwise spin with AJ Hickling initially getting over the try line three metres in from the left corner post only to be forced back into the field of play by four Kyogle defenders.

    Earlier in the 10th minute from a Lower Clarence penalty restart AJ Hickling was able to carry the ball from eight metres inside his own territory to nine metres into Turkeys territory. Then in the 34th minute from the right of the dummy half AJ Hickling got the ball to within twenty metre of the try line after commencing his run thirty seven metres out.

    Tyrese Bowman moved back to fullback for the Bilambil Jets in the NRRRL U18 Round Fifteen local derby against the Cudgen Hornets with Tyrese Bowman involved in an old fashioned mouse trap play in the 39th minute and after picking up the ball at dummy half, Tyrese Bowman made ten metres to get the ball over the thirty metre mark.

    Tyrese Bowman also made a good one on one fullback’s tackle in open space in the 16th minute on the Cudgen halfback who had made a long line break through the centre of the field only to be tackled by Tyrese Bowman thirty five metres from the try line.

    Creedence Donovan moved to five eight for the Bilambil Jets in the NRRRL U18 Round Fifteen local derby against the Cudgen Hornets with Creedence Donovan making a line beak in the 36th minute when after taking possession of the ball forty metres from his own try line and to the left of the play the ball, Creedence Donovan ran at the defensive lien and after dummying to his left, Creedence Donovan sliced between two defenders and after shrugging away from a cover defender Creedence Donovan stepped off his right foot to beat the Cudgen fullback. Creedence Donovan was grabbed from behind around fifteen metres out but kept pushing and shoving to get the ball within a metre of the try line and six metres in from the left touchline.

    Creedence Donovan also recorded a line break assist in the 8th minute when from the left of the play the ball Creedence Donovan double pumped a short ball to his left to put his left centre into a yawning gap with the centre beating the fullback to score on the opposite side of the goal posts.

    Inside the opening minute of the match Creedence Donovan ran the ball down a short left blindside from twelve metres inside his own territory and Creedence Donovan was able to promote the ball to two metres into Cudgen territory.

    Creedence Donovan also forced a Cudgen goal line drop-out in the 13th minute when after receiving the ball to the left of the dummy half and in front of the goal posts nineteen metres out, Creedence Donovan was hit just after receiving the ball but was able to break the tackle and when Creedence Donovan was still ten metres from the try line, Creedence Donovan put in a right foot grubber kick to his left with the Cudgen fullback subsequently tackled in-goal to force the Hornets gaol line drop-out.

    In 2023 Leo Briggs played for Souths in the GBJRL U14 Division One competition with Leo Briggs starting all of the matches that he played in the centre with Leo Briggs finishing as the competition’s leading try scorer with eighteen tries.

    Leo Briggs scored an impressive four tries in Round Fourteen against the Waterford Demons and Leo Briggs also scored doubles in Rounds Two, Five, Seven and Eight against Aspley, Easts, Norths and Redcliffe respectively.

    Leo Briggs also scored in Round One against Carina, Round Four against Easts and Round Twelve against Norths.

    Round One of the Finals against Logan Brothers saw Leo Briggs scored a hat trick and Leo Briggs also started in the centres in the 2023 GBJRL U14 Division One Grand Final also against Logan Brothers.

    Leo Briggs also kicked a conversion in Round Thirteen against Logan Brothers.

    In 2022 Leo Briggs played for Brothers in the Ipswich Rugby League U13 competition starting all of his matches at lock including Brothers Grand Final victory.

    Damon Coldwell continued on the left wing for Northern United in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL First Grade competition against the Mullumbimby Giants with Damon Coldwell scoring in the 12th minute with a comfortable six metre run down a short left blindside off a smart ball from his five eight from his right with Damon Coldwell crossing the try line wide out on the left with Damon Coldwell then able to bring the ball ten metres closer to the goal posts.

    Rowan Mansfield started on the right wing for the Ballina Seagulls in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL First Grade competition against the Evans Head Bombers with Rowan Mansfield making a line break and recording a try assist in the 75th minute when after receiving the ball from his inside thirty metres out from his own try line Rowan Mansfield burst away down the right touchline and after Rowan Mansfield was ankle tapped still thirty metres out, Rowan Mansfield was able to get back to his feet and when eighteen metres from the try line Rowan Mansfield was able to get an off-load away from his inside to his right centre who was able to score wide out on the right.

    In the 9th minute to return a kick-off that Rowan Mansfield had taken on the full and Rowan Mansfield was able to return the kick-off out to the thirty metre mark.

    In late September 2023 Rueben Taramarki was named in the 2024 Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup squad.

    In 2023 Rueben Taramaki played for the Bilambil Jets in the NRRRL competition including starting in the second row in the NRRRL U18 Grand Final victory against the Murwillumbah Mustangs.

    Rueben Taramaki scored on eleven occasions over the course of the 2023 NRRRL U18 season.

    Round Fifteen of the NRRRL First Grade competition against the Ballina Seagulls saw Micah Leaupepe Perkins move to right centre for the Evans Head Bombers with Micah Leaupepe Perkins scoring in the 15th minute when after receiving a cut-out pass from his inside Micah Leaupepe Perkins raced ten metres down the right touchline to put the ball down one handed (left) in the corner.

    In the 47th minute Micah Leaupepe Perkins was able to return a Ballina kick from his own ten metre mark out to the twenty seven metre mark. Then in the 61st minute from the left of the play the ball Micah Leaupepe Perkins was able to carry the ball from thirty one metres out from his own try line out to the halfway mark.

    Matthew Bollard started at right centre for the Murwillumbah Mustangs in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL First Grade competition against the Tweed Coast Raiders with Matthew Bollard scoring the first of his two tries in the 6th minute when after Matthew Bollard backed up a Mustangs line break down the right touchline, Matthew Bollard received an inside pass and ran thirty metres to put the ball down under the posts untouched.

    Matthew Bollard completed his double in the 14th minute from two passes to the right of a Murwillumbah scrum win and after receiving the ball thirty metres from his own try line, Matthew Bollard beat his opposing centre on the outside before stepping off his right foot to beat the Tweed Coast left winger on the inside with Matthew Bollard then running seventy metres down the right touchline to put the ball down six metres in from the right corner post.

    Grange Womal is a Brothers Mackay halfback prospect who signed with the Titans midway through the 2023 Mackay Junior Rugby League U15 season.
    Grange Womal captained the Mackay Brothers side from the halfback position to an unbeaten season including starting the Grand Final against the Moranbah Miners and Major Semi-final against Sarina at halfback.
    Grange Womal, over the course of the 2023 season scoring sixty four points from six tries and twenty conversions. Grange Womal scored doubles in Round Three against Sarina and Round Twelve against the Brahmans.
    From a goal kicking perspective Grange Womal kicked six conversions in Round Twelve against the Brahmans in a match that saw Grange Womal finish with an individual points tally of twenty points and five conversions in Round Fourteen against Magpies,. Grange Womal also kicked three conversions in Round Six against Norths and Round Seven against Wests.
    At the Mackay Brothers 2023 Awards Presentation Grange Womal was named the 2023 Mackay Brothers player with the most potential.
    In 2022 Grange Womal played for Toowoomba Brothers Blue in the Mackay U14 competition, finishing the season with forty points from three tries and fourteen conversions, with the most conversions that Grange Womal kicked in a single match being four, which occurred on four separate occasions.
    Grange Womal scored in Rounds Four, Ten and Twelve against Wests, Brothers White and Wanderers respectively.

    Tyrese Bowman continued at fullback for the Bilambil Jets in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Murwillumbah Mustangs with Tyrese Bowman involved in an old fashioned mouse trap play in the 51st minute and after picking up the ball, Tyrese Bowman ran out of dummy half to his right from inside his own territory and passed to his right with Bilambil making a line break down the right touchline a pass later.

    Tyrese Bowman also recorded a try assist in the 11th minute when from the right of the play the ball forty metres out from his own try line, Creedence Donovan ran at the Mustangs defensive line and at the last moment, passed inside on a set play to Tyrese Bowman who broke through the defensive line and then when forty metres out from the try line Tyrese Bowman drew the Murwillumbah fullback and passed the ball back to his left to Creedence Donovan who raced away to score under the posts.

    2023 saw Jordan Barnes continue to play for the Mullumbimby Giants in the Group 18 U15 competition with Jordan Barnes starting in the second row in the Grand Final against Byron Bay Lennox Head.

    Jordan Barnes was named the 2023 Mullumbimby Colts Group 18 U15 Most Consistent Player.

    Tashahn Cora then was named on the bench for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against Northern United with Tashahn Cora coming onto the field to operate at halfback mid-way through the first half and in the 30th minute from the right of a Seagulls scrum win in the centre of the field twenty three metres out from the try line, Tahshan Cora stepped off his right foot and surge to within a metres of the try line and three metres to the left of the goal posts.

    Then in the 58th minute when whilst running the ball to the right of the play the ball Tashahn Cora dummied to an inside runner and then when Tashahn Cora when ten metres inside his own territory put in a left foot chip kick for yourself regathering the ball ten metres inside Northern United territory before being brought to ground thirty six metres out and in the centre of the field.

    Banjora Porch continued from the bench for the Byron Bay Devils in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Ballina Seagulls and after coming onto the field to operate in the front row in the 19th minute Banjora Porch ran onto the ball to the right of the dummy half in the 26th minute to get the ball from his own thirty seven metre mark to four metres into Seagulls territory. Then in the 40th minute from the right of the play the ball Banjora Porch carried the ball to forty two metres from his own try line after commencing his run twenty eight metres out.
