Hi mdrew, is this young fella built like a proper super stocky rugby union prop or is he a bit more moderate in body shape being only 14-15 years old?
Interested if we are signing that body type in the JTS but I suspect he's not quite the no-neck budding 135kg Union type prop at this age level.

My point being the stereotypical rugby union prop would get absolutely destroyed laterally defensively and would fatigue insanely quickly in a game of high level rugby league.

Absolutely not a rugby prop's build mate. Viliami Fifita is Jojo's younger brother and had the majority of NRL clubs after him. He has exceptional athleticism and whilst he will play in the front row in rugby league Viliami is an impressive rugby league junior who plays for Burleigh in the GCRL JRL as well as at representative level and has already played for Titans U16 squads.

In August 2023 Leison Malu was named in the South Queensland Māori U14 Teina Representative squad.

In May 2023 Leison Malu was named in the Brisbane Junior Rugby U13 Representative squad.

The young fullback was named in the 2022 QRSS U12 Rugby League Boys Representative Team after representing South Coast.

2022 also saw Leison Malu play for the Logan Saints Rugby club in the BJRU U12 Division One competition.

Latrell Gordon who will line up for the Casino Cougars in their Group One U15 Grand Final today was at the CHS State Athletics Championships and added to his Gold Medal haul with Gold Medals in the Discus and 100m in the U15 Age Group.
