    Titans contracted Majah Peachey is set to busy on Sunday, he has been named at centre for the Logan Brothers U16 Division One side in their Week Two Finals match against Norths and also on the bench for the Logan Brothers U15 Division One side for their Finals match against Souths.

    Kwinn Wolf started in the front row for PBC SHS in the Walters Cup Semi-final against Marsden SHS with Kwinn Wolf scoring the opening try of the match in just the 2nd minute when from two metres out Kwinn Wolf cut underneath his hooker who had run to his right with Kwinn Wolf crashing over to score mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

    Also in the 36th minute from the left of the play the ball Kwinn Wolf carried the ball from thirty five metres from the try line to twenty metres out, breaking a tackle along the way. Then a tackle later Kwinn Wolf got to within four metres of the try line after starting his run twelve metres out.

    Reico Ratana continued at right second row for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Thirteen of the HDC against the Redcliffe Dolphins and in the 9th minute from the right of the play the ball and forty metres from his own try line Reico Ratana bumped off one defender near the halfway mark after initially juggling the ball to get the ball four metres into Redcliffe territory. Then two tackles later Reico Ratana backed up to take another hit-up making thirteen more metres to get the ball within thirteen metres of the Dolphins try line.

    The 21st minute then saw Reico Ratana run onto the ball to the right of the play the ball and make a great run from twenty five metres out from his own try line and get the ball to within four metres of the halfway mark. Reico Ratana proceeded to carry the ball strongly once again in the 30th minute when from the right of the dummy half Reico Ratana ran an underneath route off his halfback and run the ball from thirty five metres from the try line to twenty two metres out.

    Reico Ratana produced a smart piece of play in the 46th minute to predict a Redcliffe grubber kick into the in-goal from close range, but Reico Ratan was able to quickly move to his left to retrieve the ball in the in-goal area behind the posts to prevent a Redcliffe try.

    Titans contracted Ryan Foran started at left second row for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Thirteen of the HDC against the Redcliffe Dolphins with Ryan Foran scoring in the 9th minute when his five eight had taken possession of the ball three passes to the left of the dummy half and eighteen metres out from the try line Max Liles had to immediately step off his left foot back to his right to beat a Dolphins who had raced out of the defensive line to target Max Liles, with Max Liles then immediately passed the ball back to his left to Ryan Foran who charged at the spot where the Dolphins had come from to cross the try line and run around to put the ball down under the posts.

    Ryan Foran also made the fourth hit-up of the match from the left of the play the ball to get the ball from his own thirty metre mark to within four metres of the halfway mark. The 51st minute then saw Ryan Foran run the ball down the left channel from thirty five metres from the try line to nineteen metres out with 65% of Ryan Foran’s metres being post contact.

    Ryan Foran did very well defensively with two tackles in a row in the 43rd minute to step Redcliffe players from trying to burrow their way over the try line from close range next to the left uprights, then Ryan Foran stopped the Dolphins right centre (No. 3) right on the try line and five metres in from the left corner post in the 45th minute.

    Titans contracted Nicholas Hilton moved back to the bench for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Thirteen of the HDC against the Redcliffe Dolphins and after coming onto the field to operate in the front row in the 29th minute Nicholas Hilton’s opening hit-up within moments of coming onto the field resulted in a Seagulls penalty when Nicholas Hilton caught a number of defenders offside.

    The 34th minute then saw Nicholas Hilton from the left of the play the ball run onto the ball ten metres from the halfway mark and carry the ball three metres into Redcliffe territory. Then in the 36th minute from the left of the play the ball Nicholas Hilton ran the ball from forty metres from the try line to twenty eight metres out with Nicholas Hilton then able to get a right arm off-load away to his right to Tanu Nona.

    Nicholas Hilton also made a good kick-off return in the 40th minute to get the ball out to the twenty two metre mark. Then in the 53rd minute from the left of the play the ball Nicholas Hilton carried the ball from six metres inside his own territory to six metres into Northern Pride territory with Nicholas Hilton then able to get an off-load away to his right to Tanu Nona.

    Titans contracted Jayden Wright started in the front row for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in the Round Thirteen of the HDC top of the table match against the Redcliffe Dolphins with Jayden Wright taking the opening hit-up of the match from the kick-off. Jayden Wright also made the fifth hit-up of the match to get the ball four metres into Redcliffe territory. Jayden Wright made a second kick-off return in the 12th minute to get the ball out to the twenty metre mark.

    Jayden Wright produced a good defensive play in the 69th minute when he was involved in holding up the Redcliffe No. 14 over the try line next to the right upright on the final tackle.

    Jayden Wright showcased all of his skills in the 79th minute when after receiving the ball to the left of the uprights on the final tackle Jayden Wright put in a right foot grubber kick from ten metres out to the right forcing the Redcliffe to play at the ball.

    Max Liles came close to being heavily involved in another Seagulls try in the 14th minute when after taking possession of the ball down a short left blindside Max Liles ran to within thirty metres of the try line before putting in a left foot chip kick over the top of the Dolphins oncoming defensive line with the kick being collected on the full by the Tweed Heads left winger but unfortunately his pass inside to an unmarked team mate was knocked down by the Redcliffe five eight to save a try but the Seagulls did get six more tackles inside their attacking twenty metre area.

    Max Liles ran the ball himself in the 35th minute to the left of the play the ball and from twenty four metres from his own try line with Max Liles cutting inside off his left foot before running back to the right with Max Liles beating three defenders as he got to within seven metres of the halfway mark.

    Max Liles then forced a goal line drop-out in the 75th minute when from the left of the play the ball and twelve metres from the try line Max Liles put through a left foot grubber kick into the in-goal to force the drop-out with the Seagulls scoring the match winning try from the subsequent set of six tackles.

    Oskar Bryant continued at hooker for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Thirteen of the HDC against the Redcliffe Dolphins with Oskar Bryant recording a try assist for the Seagulls match winning try in the 77th minute. With the play the ball a metre from the try line and seven metres to the right of the uprights, Oskar Bryant held the ball up momentarily before passing to his left out of dummy half to Jesse Jackson who crashed over to score next to the right upright.

    Oskar Bryant ran out of dummy half to his left in the 24th minute from eight metres inside his own territory to nine metres inside Redcliffe’s. Then in the 75th minute from twenty five metres out and in the centre of the field Oskar Bryant ran out of dummy half to his right before cutting back to his left to behind the ruck with Oskar Bryant getting to within ten metres of the try line before getting an off-load away to his left to his lock.

    Round One of the 2023 Walters Cup School Boy competition saw Tomasi Vaitai named at right second row for Keebra Park SHS against Ipswich SHS.

    Tomasi Vaitai also started at right second row in Round Two against Marsden SHS as well as in Round Three against Redcliffe SHS.

    Tomasi Vaitai also started at right second row in Round Four against Caloundra SHS with Tomasi Vaitai made his initial strong run of the match inside the opening minute from a Keebra Park SHS penalty tap restart to get the ball from four metres inside his own territory to twelve metres inside Caloundra SHS territory. Then in the 39th minute Tomasi Vaitai carried the ball to within two metres of the halfway mark after a twenty metre run.

    Tomasi Vaitai continued at right second row in Round Five against Wavell SHS with Tomasi Vaitai running onto the ball to the right of the play the ball from his own twenty three metre mark to the forty metre mark.

    The 26th minute then saw Tomasi Vaitai charge onto the ball to the left of the play the ball from the left of the dummy half to get the ball from his own twenty metre mark to thirty eight metres out with 60% of Tomasi Vaitai’s metres being post contact with the defensive line.

    Then in the 38th minute Tomasi Vaitai made a kick-off return that saw Tomasi Vaitai get the ball to the twenty eight metre mark. Tomasi Vaitai made another good run in the 46th minute to come close to scoring from fourteen metres out and to the right of the play the ball.

    Tomasi Vaitai also started at right second row in the Round Six Gold Coast School Boy derby against PBC SHS with Tomasi Vaitai scoring in the 20th minute when from twelve metres out Tomasi Vaitai charged between two defenders after getting a good ball from his right from Jai Billish to power over ten metres to the right of the right of the uprights.

    Then from the subsequent kick-off Tomasi Vaitai returned the ball out to the twenty seven metre mark then two tackles later Tomasi Vaitai made a further twelve metres to get the ball within ten metres of the halfway mark.

    Earlier in the match in the 7th minute saw Tomasi Vaitai run onto the ball to the left of the play the ball on his own twenty metre mark to the thirty metre mark, then two tackles later Tomasi Vaitai made a further eighteen metres to get the ball from ten metres inside his own territory to eight metres into PBC SHS territory.

    Tomasi Vaitai continued at right second row in Round Seven against Mabel Park SHS with Tomasi Vaitai charging onto the ball to the right of the play the ball in the 9th minute from his own forty metre mark to get the ball four metres into Mabel Park SHS territory.

    In the 28th minute from three metres inside his own territory and two passes to the right of the play the ball Tomasi Vaitai produced one of the runs of the match as he rumbled downfield to within thirty metres of the try line with Tomasi Vaitai breaking three tackles and with 65% of Tomasi Vaitai’s metres gained being post contact metres.

    Then in the 48th minute after picking up an off-load in the centre of the field Tomasi Vaitai charged at the try line from twenty metres out to get within three metres of the try line.

    Tomasi Vaitai continued at right second row in the Semi-final against Wavell SHS and in the 6th minute from the right of the play the ball Tomasi Vaitai carried the ball from ten metres out from his try line to twenty two metres out.     Jake Lateo was named at fullback for PBC SHS in the Langer Cup Semi-Final against Marsden SHS with Jake Lateo picking up a Marsden SHS lost ball three metres out from his own try line and returning the ball to the twenty metre mark.

    Jake Lateo also ran the ball well in the 21st minute from the left of the play the ball to get the ball from thirty eight metres from the try line to the halfway mark. Then in the 38th minute after receiving an off-load from his right Jake Lateo continued to run to his right to get the ball twenty four metres away from his own try line after taking possession of the ball twelve metres from his own try line.

    In the 12th minute along with Jac Finnigan, Jake Lateo did well to hold up the Marsden SHS front rower No. 8 over the try line eight metres in from the left corner post.

    Titans contracted Devin Bates-Wellington started from the bench for PBC SHS in the Walters Cup Semi-final against Marsden SHS and after coming onto the field to operate on the right in the 30th minute Devin Bates-Wellington immediately carried the ball to within twenty metres of the try line.

    Devin Bates-Wellington made a line break in the 36th minute from fifteen metres inside his own territory and when he had gotten to within five metres of the halfway mark, Devin Bates-Wellington was able to break away from one defender and carry the ball an additional seventeen metres to twelve metres into Marsden SHS territory. Then two tackles later Devin Bates-Wellington was able to make an additional ten metres downfield.

    Will Saunders was named at hooker for PBC SHS in the Langer Cup Semi-Final against Marsden SHS with Will Saunders running to his left out of dummy half in the 13th minute to get the ball from eighteen metres out from his own try lien to thirty seven metres out.

    Will Saunders ran out of dummy half to his right once again in the 34th minute to get to thirty two metres from the try line after commencing his run from forty seven metres out. Then I the 58th minute Will Saunders ran out of dummy half to his left from thirty six metres from the try line to twelve metres out, running through the centre of the Marsden SHS defensive line.

    Round One of the 2023 Walters Cup School Boy competition saw Gabriel Salele’a named at lock for Keebra Park SHS against Ipswich SHS. Gabriel Salele’a also started at lock in Round Two against Marsden SHS.

    Gabriel Salele’a also started at lock in Round Three against Redcliffe SHS with Gabriel Salele’a recording a try assist against Redcliffe SHS in the 52nd minute when after making a line break from the left of the play the ball when Gabriel Salele’a sliced between two defenders and after drawing the fullback Gabriel Salele’a got an off-load away to his left to put Gazniah To’omaga over to score under the posts.

    Gabriel Salele’a also made a good run in the 57th minute making eighteen metres down the left channel to twelve metres inside Redcliffe SHS territory with Gabriel Salele’a then awarded a penalty for being held down too long in the tackle.

    Earlier in the 33rd minute Gabriel Salele’a effected a one on one strip six metres out from the try line to get the ball back for Keebra Park SHS.

    Gabriel Salele’a also started at lock in Round Four against Caloundra SHS with Gabriel Salele’a scoring a try and kicking two conversions with the first kicked in the 19th minute when Gabriel Salele’a converted his own try in front of the posts. Gabriel Salele’a then kicked his second conversion in the 41st minute from mid-way between the goal posts and the corner post on the left side of the field with a great left foot strike of the ball.

    Gabriel Salele’a scored a great solo try in the 40th minute when after receiving the ball five metres inside his own territory and to the right of the play the ball, Gabriel Salele’a burst through a small gap between two Caloundra SHS defenders with Gabriel Salele’a then grabbed from behind by the fullback by the jersey but after getting out of that tackle, Gabriel Salele’a put the ball down under the posts and then Gabriel Salele’a stepped up to convert his own try. Gabriel Salele’a then did well from the subsequent Caloundra SHS kick-off to take a short kick-off on the full on the left side of the field.

    Gabriel Salele’a did well defensively in the 19th minute with a try saving heavy tackle a metre from the try line and ten metres in from the right touchline with a push and shove ensuing after the Caloundra SHS player lost the ball in the tackle.

    Gabriel Saleele’a continued at lock in Round Five against Wavell SHS with Gabriel Saleele’a running onto the ball to the left of the play the ball in the 23rd minute to get the ball to within fourteen of the try line after starting his run thirty metres out.

    From a Keebra Park SHS penalty tap restart in the 28th minute Gabriel Saleele’a ran the ball through the centre of the field from ten metres out from his own try line to twenty three metres out and then two tackles later Gabriel Saleele’a made a further twelve metres to seven metres inside Wavell SHS territory.

    Gabriel Saleele’a also started at lock in the Round Six Gold Coast School Boy derby against PBC SHS with Gabriel Saleele’a recording a line break assist in the 1st minute of the match when to the right of the play the ball Gabriel Saleele’a executed a run around before popping a short ball to his right to Jai Billish who broke through the PBC SHS defensive line from thirty metres out from the try line.

    Gabriel Saleele’a continued at lock in Round Seven against Mabel Park SHS with Gabriel Saleele’a scoring in the 10th minute when Gabriel Saleele’a did well to charge down a Mabel Park SHS clearing kick forty metres out with Gabriel Saleele’a then able to collect the bouncing ball around thirty three metres out and outpace the Mabel Park SHS cover defence to score under the posts.

    The 19th minute saw Gabriel Saleele’a take a hit-up from the right of the play the ball from eighteen metres out and through sheer force of will Gabriel Saleele’a was able to get the ball to within two metres of the try line just to the left of the goal posts.

    Gabriel Saleela’a continued at lock in the Semi-final against Wavell SHS with Gabriel Saleela’a running onto the ball to the left of the dummy half in the 33rd minute to get the ball from thirty seven metres from the try line to twenty two metres away.
