    Bailey McConnell continued at five eight for PBC SHS in Round Five of the School Boy Langer Cup competition against Ipswich SHS with Bailey McConnell scoring in the 13th minute when after taking possession of the ball from the dummy half from his right when ten metres out from the try line, Bailey McConnell continued to run to his left and after dummying in the same direction, Bailey McConnell was able to pull out of one tackle before ducking under an attempted tackle by the Ipswich SHS fullback to score eight metres in from the left corner post.

    Bailey McConnell also recorded a try assist in the 20th minute when after running the ball out of dummy half to his left from ten metres out down a short left blindside, Bailey McConnell was able to get the Ipswich SHS right side defenders interested with Bailey McConnell then throwing a hard flat cut-out pass to his left to put Creedence Donavan over to score in the corner.

    Baley McConnell also recorded a line break assist in the 16th minute when to the left of the play the ball forty metres out from his own try line Bailey McConnell ran the ball down a short blindside and held the ball up perfectly to put his left centre into a gap to charge thirty metres down the left touchline.

    Earlier in the match in the 13th minute Bailey McConnell, from twenty metres out, Bailey McConnell ran to the left of the play the ball and was able to get within six metres of the try line before being brought to ground.

    The 6th minute saw Bailey McConnell put in a right foot grubber kick from ten metres out and to the left of the play the ball and after the ball was played at by Ipswich SHS, Bailey McConnell retrieved the ball to get six more tackles in an attacking position for PBC SHS.

    Titans contracted Dallas Ingram has been named at inside centre (No. 12) for the TSS U16A side in their GPS School Boy rugby match against ST Joseph's College Gregory Terrace tomorrow.

    Dallas Ingram then has been named to start from the bench for the TSS First XV later in the afternoon.

    Austin Marsters was named on the bench for Keebra Park SHS in Round Five of the Langer Cup against Wavell SHS with Austin Marsters recording a try assist in the 35th minute when from the right of the play the ball, Austin Marsters ran the ball to within six metres of the try line before throwing a bullet pass to his right to put his right centre over to score eight metres in from the right corner post.

    Cruz Dangerfield continued at left second for PBC SHS in Round Five of the School Boy Walters Cup against Stretton State College with Cruz Dangerfield scoring in the 21st minute with an outstanding solo effort. After receiving the ball two passes to the left of the dummy half on the halfway mark, Cruz Dangerfield stepped off his left foot after running five metres to beat one defender with Cruz Dangerfield then stepping off his left foot when twenty metres out to beat the Stretton State College fullback. Cruz Dangerfield as caught from behind when eight metres from the try line but after spinning clockwise, Cruz Dangerfield was able to break free of the tackle and dive over to score adjacent to the left upright.

    Cruz Dangerfield was also involved in a PBC SHS try in the 28th minute when whilst three metres from the try line Cruz Dangerfield was able to get his right arm free above his head and get a pass away to his left with PBC SHS scoring in the left corner a pass later.

    Gabriel Saleele’a continued at lock for Keebra Park SHS in Round Five of the Walters Cup against Wavell SHS with Gabriel Saleele’a running onto the ball to the left of the play the ball in the 23rd minute to get the ball to within fourteen of the try line after starting his run thirty metres out.

    From a Keebra Park SHS penalty tap restart in the 28th minute Gabriel Saleele’a ran the ball through the centre of the field from ten metres out from his own try line to twenty three metres out and then two tackles later Gabriel Saleele’a made a further twelve metres to seven metres inside Wavell SHS territory.

    Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki was named on the bench for Keebra Park SHS in Round Five of the School Boy Langer Cup against Wavell SHS and after coming onto the field in the dummy half role in the 15th minute, Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki scored Keebra Park SHS’s opening try of the match in the 17th minute when Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki ran to his right out of dummy half from four metres out with Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki burrowing under three defenders to get the ball down two metres to the right of the uprights.

    The 55th minute saw Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki make twenty seven metres after running the ball to the left of the play the ball to get to three metres of the halfway mark, breaking three tackles as he stepped off his right foot on multiple occasions.

    Titans contracted Jack Schmidt was named in the front row for Keebra Park SHS in Round Five of the Langer Cup against Wavell SHS and in the 9th minute from the left of the play the ball Jack Schmidt carried the ball from his own twenty seven metre mark to within eight metres of the halfway mark. Then two minutes later in the 11th minute from the right of the play the ball Jack Schmidt made twelve metres from deep inside his own territory.

    In the 59th minute from the left of the play the ball Jack Schmidt charged onto the ball and was able to get thirteen metres inside Wavell SHS territory after starting his run nine metres inside his own territory. Then two tackles later Jack Schmidt made a further twelve metres to get to within twenty metres of the try line.

    Tomasi Vaitai continued at right second row for Keebra Park SHS in Round Five of the School Boy Walters Cup against Wavell SHS with Tomasi Vaitai running onto the ball to the right of the play the ball from his own twenty three metre mark to the forty metre mark.

    The 26th minute then saw Tomasi Vaitai charge onto the ball to the left of the play the ball from the left of the dummy half to get the ball from his own twenty metre mark to thirty eight metres out with 60% of Tomasi Vaitai’s metres being post contact with the defensive line.

    Then in the 38th minute Tomasi Vaitai made a kick-off return that saw Tomasi Vaitai get the ball to the twenty eight metre mark. Tomasi Vaitai made another good run in the 46th minute to come close to scoring from fourteen metres out and to the right of the play the ball.

    Titans contracted Zyroam Taurawa-Herlihy was named on the left wing for Keebra Park SHS in Round Five of the Langer Cup against Wavell SHS with Zyroam Taurawa-Herlihy kicking two conversions and a penalty goal in an 18 – 8 hard fought Keebra Park SHS victory. Zyroam Taurawa-Herlihy kicked the first of his two conversions in the 17th minute from two metres to the right of the uprights, with Zyroam Taurawa-Herlihy kicking his second conversion in the 35th minute from eight metres in from the right touchline. Zyroam Taurawa-Herlihy then kicked his penalty gaol in the 60th minute from twelve metres out and five metres to the right of the uprights after a scuffle between the two teams.

    In the 26th minute Zyroam Taurawa-Herlihy took a Wavell SHS clearing kick on the full ten metres out from his own try line as he was tracking backwards with Zyroam Taurawa-Herlihy returning the ball to the twenty five metre mark in the centre of the field. Then two tackles later Zyroam Taurawa-Herlihy made a further twelve metres to get the ball to within five metres of the halfway mark.

    The 28th minute then saw Zyroam Taurawa-Herlihy, from a Keebra Park SHS twenty metre tap restart make fourteen metres. The 57th minute then saw Zyroam Taurawa-Herlihy run the ball to the left of the play the ball from two metres out from his own try line to twenty one metres out near the left touchline.

    Keebra Park SHS’s David Bryenton continued at fullback in Round Five of the School Boy Walters Cup against Wavell SHS with David Bryenton scoring in the 23rd minute when after taking possession of the ball to the left of the dummy half around fifteen metres out, David Bryenton threw an exaggerated dummy to his left before stepping off back to his inside with David Bryenton then charging over to score ten metres in from the left corner post.

    David Bryenton also recorded a try assist in the 3rd minute when after joining the Keebra Park SHS backline on the left side of the field David Bryenton engaged two Wavell SHS defenders five metres out and four metres in from the left touchline, David Bryenton was able to keep his right arm free of the two defenders are get an off-load away to his left to put his winger over to score in the left corner.

    David Bryenton made a line break in the 23rd minute when after taking a Wavell SHS clearing kick in front of his own posts ten metres out, David Bryenton ran to his left and after getting on the outside of the last Wavell SHS right sided defender David Bryenton ran down the left touchline and after beating one cover defender near the halfway mark David Bryenton was tackled twelve metres inside Wavell SHS territory.

    David Bryenton also recorded a line break assist in the 43rd minute when from just twenty five metres out from his own try line David Bryenton took possession to the left of the play the ball down a left blindside and after skipping to his left and drawing the Wavell SHS right winger David Bryenton passed the ball to his left to put his winger on a twenty eight metre run down the touchline to just inside Wavell SHS territory.

    David Bryenton made a positive contribution to Keebra Park SHS’s performance in the match inside the opening minute when after the opening set of six from Wavell SHS to get the match underway, David Bryenton took a Wavell SHS clearing kick on the full eight metres out from his own try line near the right touchline and was able to return the kick to twenty four metres out from the try line.

    David Bryenton highlighted his evasive skills in the 36th minute when from the right of the play the ball fourteen metres out, David Bryenton stepped off his right foot twice to easily beat defenders but when he was six metres out David Bryenton was hit high to end a very promising run.

    Titans contracted Kalani Patu continued at left second row for Keebra Park SHS in Round Five of the School Boy Walters Cup against Wavell SHS with Kalani Patu recording a line break assist in the 35th minute when after engaging the Wavell SHS defensive line on the left of the play the ball, Kalani Patu carried the ball from forty metres out to thirty two metres out before getting a great off-load away to his left to put five eight Gazniah To’omaga away downfield.

    The 28th minute saw Kalani Patu mark seventeen metres down the left channel to the thirty seven metre mark, then in the 29th minute Kalani Patu made sixteen metres from the right of the play the ball to twenty metres from the try line after cutting back inside after receiving the ball.
