    Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri started at left second row for Marsden SHS in Round Four of the School Boy Langer Cup against Wavell SHS with Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri scoring in the 28th minute with a four metre run into a gap off a good short ball from his inside from Javon Andrews to score midway between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

    Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri also recorded a line break assist in the 28th minute when from two passes to the left of a Marsden SHS scrum win Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri engaged the Wavell SHS defensive line and was then bale to get a great right arm around the corner off-load away to his left on his own thirty five metre line to put his left centre away downfield.

    Titans contracted Alex Leapai came off the bench for the Souths Logan Magpies in Round Twelve of the HDC competition against the Mackay Cutters with Alex Leapai almost scoring as soon as he came on to play in the front row in the 8th minute when after charging onto the ball three passes to the right of the play the ball from ten metres out Alex Leapai was held up over the try line by three defenders twelve metres in from the tight corner post.

    Alex Leapai almost scored once again in the 21st minute when after a charge right the right of the play the ball from close range Alex Leapai initially forced his way over the try line before forced back into the field of play by three Cutters defenders just to the right of the uprights.

    In the 19th minute from the left of the play the ball thirty six metres from his own try line Alex Leapai was initially engaged by two defenders ten metres from the halfway mark but after bouncing off the defenders Alex Leapai continued his run and was able to get the ball to the halfway mark.

    From two passes to the left of the dummy half in the 20th minute Alex Leapai got the ball from twenty two metres out to within eight metres of the try line. Then in his second stint on the field in the 72nd minute Alex Leapai, from the left of the play the ball was able to carry the ball from eighteen metres out from his own try line to thirty two metres out.

    Titans contracted Corey Pearce was back in the starting line -up at hooker for Marsden SHS in Round Four of the Langer Cup against Wavell SHS with Corey Pearce scoring in the 55th minute with a run out of dummy half to right from six metres out to cross the try line ten metres from the right corner post but Corey Pearce was then able to bring the ball down to within ten metres of the right upright.

    The 10th minute saw Corey Pearce dart out of dummy half to his right from twenty two metres from the try line with Corey Pearce getting to the ten metre mark before winning a penalty after Corey Pearce had caught a number of Wavell SHS defenders off-side.

    Then in the 48th minute from ten metres inside Wavell SHS territory, Corey Pearce ran to his left out of dummy half making twenty three metres through the centre of the field.

    Titans contracted Javon Andrews started at five eight for Marsden SHS in Round Four of the School Boy Langer Cup against Wavell SHS with Javon Andrew scoring in just the 2nd minute of the match when from the left of the play the ball and three metres inside Wavell SHS territory, Javon Andrews threw a short ball to his left to a support runner and then ran to the opposite side of his team mates to get the ball back forty metres out with Javon Andrews then used a left arm fend to beat a defender with Javon Andrews then stepping off his left foot to beat the Wavell SHS fullback thirty metres out with Javon Andrews then racing away to put the ball down seven metres to the left of the uprights.

    Javon Andrew also recorded a try assist in the 5th minute from the left of the play the ball with Javon Andrews and sixteen metres out with Javon Andrews throwing a long cut-out pass to is left to put his winger Xavier Atoa over to score in the left corner.

    Javon Andrews recorded second try assist in the 42nd minute when after receiving the ball ten metres out from the try line and to the left of the ball the ball Javon Andrews continued to run to his left and after drawing in two defenders threw a good short ball to his left to put second rower Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri into a gap to score mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

    The 8th minute saw Javon Andrews, from the centre of the field and eighteen metres out, put up a high right foot bomb towards the left corner with the ball coming down just in the field of play with the ball being dropped by the Wavell SHS right winger.

    Micah Leaupepe Perkins continued at left centre for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Ten of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Lower Clarence Magpies with Micah Leaupepe Perkins scoring in the 8th minute when after receiving the ball from his right from Tashahn Cora when ten metres from the try line, Micah Leaupepe Perkins straightened up his angle of attack by stepping off his left foot to get the ball down ten metres in from the left corner post.

    Micah Leaupepe Perkins also recorded a try assist in the 2nd minute when from twenty three metres out, Micah Leaupepe Perkins drove to his left at the defensive line and after getting to near the left corner, Micah Leaupepe Perkins passed to his inside to put Tashahn Cora over to score.

    Micah Leaupepe Perkins then made a 31st minute line break down the left touchline from twenty two metres from his own try line with Micah Leaupepe Perkins to within five metres of the try line before getting a pass away to his inside to Tashahn Cora.

    Then in the 34th minute from a Tweed Heads penalty tap restart from eight metres inside his own territory, Micah Leaupepe Perkins was able to get the ball ten metres inside Lower Clarence territory.

    Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri scored for Marsden SHS in the 35th minute when after five eight Javon Andrews had received an off-load he got a quick short ball away to his left to put Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri into space forty four metres out with Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri then charging downfield. Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri then dummied to his left to beat the Redcliffe SHS fullback and race away to score nine metres to the left of the uprights.

    Earlier Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri had made the second hit-up of the match to get the ball out to the thirty four metre mark.

    Corey Pearce made two line breaks against Redcliffe SHS with the first coming in the 46th minute when from dummy half forty metres out from the try line, Corey Pearce passed the ball to his left to Javon Andrews who stepped off his left foot into space and then popped a short ball to his right back to Corey Pearce who darted downfield before being tackled sixteen metres from the try line mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

    Corey Pearce made his second line break in the 54th minute with a smart run to his left out of dummy to carry the ball from forty four metres from the try line to twenty three metres with Corey Pearce the able to get an off-load away to his right.

    Titans contracted Taylan To’o came off the bench for Marsden SHS in his second match in the Langer Cup against Redcliffe SHS in Round Five which was played at Dolphin Stadium as an NRL curtain raiser in a match between the Dolphins and the Penrith Panthers.

    After coming onto the field to operate in the front row in the 25th minute Taylan To’o made a strong run in the 40th minute from the left of the play the ball with Taylan To’o making eight metres before getting a left arm off-load away to his left.

    Titans contracted Javon Andrews continued at five eight for Marsden SHS in Round Five of the School Boy Langer Cup competition against Redcliffe SHS which was played at Dolphin Oval as an NRL curtain raiser in a match between the Dolphins and the Penrith Panthers with Javon Andrews scoring one try and setting up three more.

    Javon Andrews scored in the 13th minute when he put the ball down under the posts after chasing through a Coby Black grubber kick into the in-goal.

    Javon Andrews recorded his initial try assist in the 35th minute with a short, sharp off-load to his left under pressure to put Cairo Ranganhura-Ruri with the left second rower charging forty four metres to score nine metres to the left of the uprights.

    Javon Andrews added a second try assist in the 40th minute when after running the ball from ten metres inside his own territory to the halfway mark from the left of the play the ball, Javon Andrews threw an outstanding hard, flat, cut-out pass to his left to put his left winger on the outside of his direct opponent and away down the left touchline to score.

    Javon Andrews recorded his third try assist in the 51st minute when after taking possession of the ball to the left of the play the ball Javon Andrews ran the ball to the opposite side of the ruck and when he was ten metres from the try line Javon Andrews threw a hard, flat cut-out pass to his right to put his second rower on that side of the field into a gap to score wide out on the right.

    Javon Andrews also had a line break assist in the 26th minute with a good flat cut-out pass to his left from forty metres out from the try line and to the left of the dummy half to his centre away down the left touchline.

    Javon Andrews then added a second line break assist in the 46th minute when from dummy half forty metres out from the try line, Corey Pearce passed the ball to his left to Javon Andrews who stepped off his left foot into space and then popped a short ball to his right back to Corey Pearce who darted downfield before being tackled sixteen metres from the try line mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

    Javon Andrews did well in just the 2nd minute of the match to chase an attacking Marsden SHS bomb with Javon Andrews forcing a Redcliffe SHS knock on eight metres out from the try line and three metres in from the right touchline.

    Titans contracted Riley Buchanan started in the front row for the Bilambil Jets in Round Ten of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Ballina Seagulls with Riley Buchanan making a strong run in the 36th minute to the left of the play the ball to take the ball from twelve metres inside his own territory to five metres into Ballina territory. Then in the 39th minute Riley Buchanan made a strong kick-off return to get the ball to the twenty eight metre mark in the centre of the field.

    Riley Buchanan’s best run of the match came in the 43rd minute when from the left of a Bilambil penalty tap restart thirty metres out, Riley Buchanan rumbled forward and broke a tackle as Riley Buchanan got to within a metre of the try line in front of the posts.
