    Kye Cooper started at lock for the Ballina Seagulls in Round Four of the U18 NRRRL competition against the Lower Clarence Magpies with Kye Cooper scoring a double with the first of his tries coming in the 19th minute when from the left of the play the ball Kye Cooper had a straight run to the try line from seven metres out with Kye Cooper then stepping off his left foot right on the try lien to get past the Magpies fullback and score under the posts.

    Kye Cooper completed his double in the 41st minute when ten metres out from the try line Key Cooper stepped off his right foot after receiving the ball to the left of the left the ball with Kye Cooper then engaging the defensive line two metres out and spinning clockwise to get the ball down five metres to the left of the uprights.

    Tyrelle Waters started on the left wing for the Lower Clarence Magpies in Round Four of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Ballina Seagulls with Tyrelle Waters scoring in the 33rd minute when after receiving the ball three passes to the left of the play the ball when ten metres out from the try line, Tyrelle Waters, in a heartbeat stepped off both his left and right feet before darting between two defenders to dive over four metres in from the left corner post.

    Tyrelle Waters also made a half break in the 36th minute when from thirty five metres out, Tyrelle Waters ran to his right and after dummying to his right Tyrelle Waters looked to slide between defenders but was tripped up from behind just as he was about to gain separation from the two defenders.

    Reece Warburton continued at halfback for the Lower Clarence Magpies in Round Four of the U18 NRRRL competition against the Ballina Seagulls with Reece Warburton scoring in the 17th minute when from nine metres out and to the right of the play the ball in front of the posts, Reece Warburton put in a right foot grubber kick and after the ball was fumbled by Ballina Reece Warburton was the first to react and darted forward to dive on the ball in the in-goal ten metres to the right of the uprights.

    Reece Warburton had almost scored earlier in the match in the 2nd minute when after taking an intercept around forty metres out, it appeared that Reece Warburton would race away to score but he had to pull up eight metres short of the try line due to a leg issue.

    Xavier Stowers started in the front row for Burleigh in Round Five of the HDC competition against the Toowoomba Clydesdales with Xavier Stowers scoring in the 22nd minute when Xavier Stowers charged over to score when after receiving the ball two passes to the right of the uprights Xavier Stowers charged onto the ball from ten metres out to score ten metres to the right of the uprights.

    Earlier in the match in the 7th minute Xavier Stowers carried the ball from thirty metres from his own try line to within four metres of the halfway mark after taking possession to the left of the play the ball.

    Then in the 19th minute from the left of the play the ball once again Xavier Stowers surged from twenty metres out from his own try line to thirty seven metres out, then two tackles later Xavier Stowers made another run of twelve metres to get the ball ten metres inside Toowoomba territory.

    Jakequan Roberts-Walsh started at fullback for Northern United in Round Four of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Casino Cougars with Jakequan Roberts-Walsh recording a try assist in the 11th minute when after the Northern United five eight had a kick charged down five metres inside his own territory, Jakequan Roberts-Walsh picked up the ball around ten metres inside his own territory and after exploding downfield to his right Jakequan Roberts-Walsh, whilst running to his left put in a tight foot chip off the outside of his right foot back towards the centre of the field with the ball sitting up perfectly for his five eight to run onto the ball and race away to score under the posts.

    In just the 3rd minute Jakequan Roberts-Walsh picked up a dropped ball fifteen metres inside his own territory and darted away from a standing start with Jakequan Roberts-Walsh carrying the ball eight metres inside Casino territory.

    The 8th minute saw Jakequan Roberts-Walsh chase through a chip kick to the left of the play the ball with Jakequan Roberts-Walsh taking the chip on the full near the left touchline and getting within ten metres of the left corner post.

    Then in the 17th minute Jakequan Roberts-Walsh took a Casino kick on the full near the centre of the field and three metres out from his own try line with Jakequan Roberts-Walsh running to his left to get the ball twenty two metres away from his try line.

    Lachlan Offley started at fullback for Ballina in Round Four of the U18 NRRRL competition against the Lower Clarence Magpies with Lachlan Offley scoring in the 58th minute when after running onto the ball to the left of the play the ball and twelve metres out, Lachlan Offley cut back to his right and then using a left arm fend to get past the Magpies left winger with Lachlan Offley then diving over to score in the right corner.

    The 32nd minute saw Lachlan Offley picked up a dropped Magpies ball two metres out from his ow try line with Lachlan Offley making twenty two metres downfield, breaking three tackles along the way.

    Then in the 40th minute Lachlan Offley tracked back to pick up a Lower Clarence long kick with Lachlan Offley collecting the ball eight metres from his own try line and then after running to his right Lachlan Offley stepped off his right foot before swerving past three more defenders to get the ball eight metres inside Lower Clarence territory.

    Just prior to scoring, Lachlan Offley did well in the 57th minute to take a high Magpies bomb on the full eighteen metres out from his own try line and whist running to his right Lachlan Offley broke three tackles as he made sixteen metres downfield.

    Lachlan Offley did well defensively in the 29th minute when Lachlan Offley was involved in holding up the giant Magpies No. 20 four metres to the left of the uprights.

    Tashahn Cora was outstanding yet again for the Tweed Heads Seagulls U18 NRRRL side with a Player of the Match performance last weekend against the Cudgen Hornets.

    2023 saw Titans contracted Blake Forder part of the Tweed Heads Seagulls Hastings Deering’s Colts squad with Blake Forder making his first appearance of the season when he started on the left wing in Round Five against the Ipswich Jets with Blake Forder scoring in the 78th minute when after receiving a cut-out pass from his inside, Blake Forder raced thirty metres down the left touchline. Then when he was around four metres out Blake Forder stepped off his left foot to engage the Toowoomba fullback with Blake Forder able to wrestle the fullback over the try line with him to get the ball down in the left corner.

    Titan Noah Waldock started at five eight for the Ballina Seagulls in Round Four of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Lower Clarence Magpies with Noah Waldock receiving an off-load in the 22nd minute with Noah Waldock then stepping off his right foot on two occasions to carry the ball from thirty five metres from his own try line to within two metres of the halfway mark.

    Then in the 44th minute from the left of the play the ball thirty five metres out from his own try line Noah Waldock stepped off his right foot twice with Noah Waldock getting the ball to twelve metres out from the try line.

    Titans contracted Nicholas Hilton started from the bench for Tweed Heads in Round Five of the HDC competition against the Ipswich Jets with Nicholas Hilton scoring his first try of the season in the 71st minute when with the play the ball two metres out from the try line, the Tweed Heads dummy half ran to his left with Nicholas Hilton then cutting back underneath him with Nicholas Hilton engaging the defensive line still three metres out Nicholas Hilton was able to twist his body clockwise to get the ball down under the posts while still engaged with three Toowoomba defenders.

    Titans contracted Alex Leapai fresh off an outstanding match for Mabel Park SHS on Tuesday makes his Hastings Deerings Colts debut today when he starts in the front row for the Souths Logan Magpies against the Burleigh Bears.

    This match will be at CBus starting at 1.15pm this afternoon with Alex Leapai wearing the 10 jersey for the Magpies for people heading there.

    Titans contracted Jayden Wright moved to start at left second row for Tweed Heads in Round Five of the HDC competition against the Ipswich Jets with Jayden Wright scoring in the 24th minute as a result of a six metre charge on the left side of the field with Jayden Wright getting the ball down three metres in from the left corner post.

    Jayden Wright also recorded a line break that led to a Tweed Heads try in the 13th minute when from thirty metres out from his own try line and to the left of the play the ball Jayden Wright burst straight through the centre of the Jets defensive line and after charging forty five metres through the centre of the field Jayden Wright got a pass away to his right to Jordan Lewis who subsequent passed the ball to Max Liles who score the first of his two tries under the posts.

    Jayden wright had taken the third hit-up of the match with Jayden Wright getting the ball thirty eight metres away from the Seagulls try line with Jayden Wright then being awarded a penalty for being held down too long and not allowed to his feet to play the ball.
