Just read that on the PSM Instagram feed mate. I wonder is it a top 30 spot as it said an NRL contract?

Dion Samuela started for Burleigh at five eight in Round Seven of the Colts competition on the weekend against the Central Queensland Capra’s scoring in the 42nd minute as well as kicking four conversions in a tough two point loss.

In the 42nd minute Dion Samuela received the ball around thirty metres out from the dummy half and to the left of the play the ball. Dion Samuela dummied to a runner who cut underneath before dummying twice to his left to generate a line break before dummying to his left once again to outwit the Capra’s fullback to score mid-way between the corner post and goal posts on the left side of the field.

Dion Samuela almost set up a try in just the 3rd minute when he put on a short chip kick towards the left corner but the ball just eluded the Burleigh left winger.

Dion Samuela also forced a line drop out in the 59th minute when from eight metres out and to the left of the play the ball Dion Samuela put a right foot grubber kick into the in-goal which had to be forced in the in-goal by the Central Queensland fullback.

Taine Tauapiki’s second try came in the 29th minute when after chiming into the backline on the left, cut subtly off his left foot to slice through from ten metres out to put the ball down mid-way between the corner post and goal post on the left side of the field.

Playing all eighty minutes, Taine Tuaupiki ran for a team leading 157 metres (forty three post contact), broke three tackles, made a line break and played the ball at an average speed of 3.4 seconds.

Taine Tuaupiki’s performance was such that he was named on the bench in the Queensland Rugby League Round Nine Queensland Cup Team of the Week.

At the recent QSSRL U18 School Boy Championships for South Coast Titans contracted Jeremaiah Temapo started Match One against Northern on the left wing.

Jeremaiah Temapo scored in the 25th minute when he was on the end of a South Coast backline movement to the left with Jeremaiah Temapo receiving the ball around ten metres out and diving over in the left corner.

Jeremaiah Temapo also recorded a 4th minute line break when from deep inside his own territory he burst away down the left touchline after being put into space by Keano Kini.

Jeremaiah Temapo also started on the left wing in Match Two against Met North scoring in the 21st minute when he received a cut-out pass from his inside from Jye Gray with Jeremaiah Temapo then running ten metres to comfortably score in the left corner.

Over the last couple of days Titans contracted Nelson Makaafi represented the South Coast U15 School Boy side at the QSSRL U15 Championships starting Match One against Northern at right second row and scoring a great forty metre try in the 40th minute and after crossing the try line near the right corner was able to bring the ball around to put it down near the right goal post.

Nelson Makaafi also started at right second row in Match Two against Met North and for me was South Coast’s best in a tough loss. Nelson Makaafi almost scored in South Coast’s opening run of the match when he got within two metres of the try line near the right corner after South Coast’s opening kick-off went into touch.

Nelson Makaafi then made a great try saving tackle in the 15th minute when after the Met North fullback broke through the South Coast defensive line from deep inside his own territory, it looked as if he would race seventy metres to score but Nelson Makaafi chased hard through centre field and caught the fullback from behind in a great display of speed and effort.

Nelson Makaafi also produced an outstanding chase in the 17th minute of the abridged match when with South Coast deep on the attack the Met North right centre took an intercept and raced away. Initially the Met North centre tried to cut in from the right touchline towards centre field but once again Nelson Makaafi chased hard through centre field and kept forcing the Met North centre wider and wider out.

As a result of his outstanding performances in the Championships Nelson Makaafi was named in the Queensland Maroon's U15 School Boy Representative side at the conclusion of the Championships.

Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki started from the bench in Match One of the QSSRL U18 School Boy Championships for South Coast against Northern.

Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki scored in the 32nd minute when from dummy half close to the line he initially darted to his right before pausing then diving over almost untouched mid-way between the corner post and goal posts on the left side of the field.

Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki’s initial strong run out of dummy half came in the 24th minute when fron forty two metres out from the line, Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki picked the ball up with his left arm and burst away to his right, making around fifteen metres after cutting back to his left to target the area behind the play the ball.

Then in the 37th minute Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki made a strong twenty metres from a South Coast penalty tap restart from a penalty that if fact was awarded to Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki.

Dorian Mapusua-Lotaki also started from the bench in Match Two against Met North coming on into the dummy half rol in the 11th minute.
