In late January 2022 Dominique Sandow started at fullback for the Titans U18 side in a match at Pizzey Park against the Burleigh MM Cup side with Dominique Sandow showing some very good skills including hand/eye co-ordination in the 26th minute when he moved forward quickly from the fullback position to take a spiralling bomb on the full very well. Dominique Sandow moved to five eight towards the end of the match.

Saturday’s Round One of the 2022 U16 Andrew Johns Cup competition saw Samuel Petch start at right centre for the Northern Rivers Titans side against the Macquarie Wests Tigers in Sydney’s west with Samuel Petch scoring a key second half try in the 52nd minute to help the Northern Rivers Titans to hold on to win 22 – 20.

Samuel Petch scored in the 52nd minute when he flashed sixteen metres down the right touchline, cutting off his right foot to get away from the right touchline and crash over between two Wests Tigers cover defenders three metres in from the right corner.

Just a minute after scoring his try, Samuel Petch saved a try with a smart piece of play when it looked certain that the Wests Tigers would score. The Wests Tigers spun the ball wide out to their left deep inside the attacking twenty metre zone with the two man overall. Samuel Petch however came out of the defensive line to take the intercept less than ten metres from the line. If Samuel Petch had not taken the initiative to move up and cut off the ball the Wests Tigers would have certainly scored in their left corner.

Saturday’s Round One of the 2022 U18 Laurie Daley Cup competition saw Stevie O’Connor start at fullback for the Northern Rivers Titans side against the Macquarie Wests Tigers in Sydney’s west. Stevie O’Connor made a strong run out of dummy half in the 12th minute when he ran to his left, getting around two Tigers defenders, making twelve metres before being dragged to ground.

Stevie O’Connor in the 41st minute did well, along with Jaylen Tewa and Harvey Moise to hold up over the try line the Wests Tigers lock who had tried to force his way over the try line from close range out of dummy half.

Just two tackles later on the other side of the field, being the Northern Rivers Titans left side, Stevie O’Connor executed a good one on one low tackle, driving his shoulder into the giant Wests Tigers interchange front rower No. 25 with Stevie O’Connor’s initial contact dropping the Tigers giant on the spot.

Saturday’s Round One of the 2022 U18 Laurie Daley Cup competition saw Harvey Moase captain the Northern Rivers Titans side from halfback against the Macquarie Wests Tigers in Sydney’s west and kicked three conversions from as many attempts.

Harvey Moase’s first conversion was an outstanding effort in blistery conditions from the left touchline in just the 2nd minute of the match to convert a Matthew Bollard try in the left corner. Harvey Moase started the ball wide out to the right of the goal posts and Harvey Moase judged the wind perfectly with the ball coming back with the wind to go over the black dot.

Harvey Moase then produced another outstanding conversion from the left touchline in the 13th minute when once again Matthew Bollard dived over in the left corner. Harvey Moase then converted Josh Buttenshaw’s try from directly in front of the goal posts.

Harvey Moase also produced a great kick-off in the 35th minute that was too difficult for the Wests Tigers to handle with the ball subsequently going dead in goal. Harvey Moase kicked the ball off with the ball going to Harvey Moase’s left and the ball sailing deep into the in-goal on the full and subsequently going dead and forcing the Wests Tigers into a goal line drop out.

Harvey Moase in the 41st minute did well, along with Stevie O’Connor and Jaylen Taewa to hold up over the try line the Wests Tigers lock who had tried to force his way over the try line from close range out of dummy half.
