Arama Hau then played a key part in Ryan Foran’s 11th minute try that commenced well inside the Titans own territory with a hit-up from Arama Hau. After engaging the Burleigh defence Arama Hau produced a right arm off-load to Jaylan De Groot who burst through the Burleigh defence before veering to his left as he approached the Bears fullback and then passed back across his body to his left to find a flying Ryan Foran thirty two metres out. As soon as he received the ball Ryan Foran cut off his right foot to beat one defender and then cross the line.

Arama Hau continued his strong start to his match in the 13th minute with a strong fifteen metre effort which saw Arama Hau cutting off his on two separate occasions after taking the ball to the right of the play the ball to get the ball just over the halfway mark.

In his second stint on the field in the second half, Arama Hau in the 63rd minute showcased his ball playing skills when on the right side of the field, Arama Hau took the ball to the line and threw a good flat ball to put Jayden Wright into a gap.

Arama Hau was able to produce another trademark offload in the 75th minute even with his back to the try line when he was able to get his right arm free to get the ball away to Keano Kini.

Arama Hau continued to work hard until the final siren and literally in the last minute, to the right of the play the ball, he ran an underneath route from Thomas Weaver and after initial contact with the defensive line was able to get an off-load away to Oscar Bryant who then threw a long cut-out pass to Jaylan De Groot who subsequently put Elijah Lui over to score in the left corner as the final siren sounded.

Josiah Pahulu also provided a great front on tackle in the 10th minute on TJ Devery when he drove his right shoulder into the Burleigh and Titans front rower forcing him back a number of metres.

The first of a number of strong hit-ups by Josiah Pahulu came in the 14th minute when he charged to near to the twenty metre mark off the kick-off to Ryan Foran’s opening try. The halftime break did not slow Josiah Pahulu down and the 56th minute he made a strong eleven metre charge to the right of the dummy half to get the ball to the twenty metre mark.

After coming back onto the field towards the end of the second half, Oscar Bryant highlighted the variety that he has in his game when he stepped to his right out of dummy half near his own forty metre line and kicked deep into the Burleigh left corner and then Oscar Bryant was immediately downfield to make the tackle on the Burleigh fullback around five metres out from the line.

Just two minutes later in the 70th minute Oscar Bryant darted out of dummy half to his left making a smart twelve metres before being tackled on the halfway mark.

Te Hurinui Apanui Twidle made another strong tackle in the 30th minute with a great covering riving tackle downfield after the Titans turned the ball over when the Titans were deep on the attack.

Te Hurinui Apanui Twidle made a trifecta of outstanding first half tackles in the first with the best of them all in the 35th minute with an outstanding try saving effort near the left corner. The Titans turned the ball over when attacking the Burleigh line, with the Burleigh left centre picking the ball up twenty metres from his own line and streaked away.

Even though the Burleigh players looked certain to score Te Hurinui Apanui Twidle did not give up and slowly but surely made up the ground, diving full length to grab him from behind and spinning the Burleigh player around and preventing what looked a certain Burleigh try.
