The Burleigh Colts side has had a bit of an up and down season but brothers Samuel and Daniel Shannon have been very consistent in the Bears forward pack and both will start again tomorrow against the Sunshine Coast Falcons.
Both are big, strong and tough, as is younger brother Joseph Shannon who may be the most physical of the three.
Samuel and Joseph are Titans contracted.

Great to see that the Casino Cougars Rugby League Club in Northern NSW has been named the 2021 NSW Grassroots Club of the Year.
Well done to everyone involved in the great club which is right in the middle of the Titans catchment area.

It is great to see the Titans look far and wide to bring the best young players into their JTS program including Amarni Wetini-Ngaropo with the Titans beating the Warriors and Bulldogs to get his signature. All the more impressive is that the young man had been part of the New Zealand Warriors Future Warriors Program for 18 months prior to committing to the Titans.
The talented young five eight from Auckland New Zealand has signed a three year contract with the Gold Coast Titans up until the end of the 2024 season and will move over to the Gold Coast in 2022 to attend Keebra Park State High School and Amarni Wetini-Ngaropo will also play for Burleigh in the 2022 U16 Cyril Connell Cup competition.
In Auckland, Amarni Wetini-Ngaropo attended Auckland Grammar School, represented the Manurewa Marlins representative side and in late 2021 Amarni Wetini-Ngaropo represented the New Zealand Warriors Future Warriors side in a match against a Tao Samoa U15 selection.

Powerful youngster Dorian Lotaki has been nothing short of sensational for both Keebra Park in the Walters Cup and Nerang in the GCRL U18 Division One competition since his mid-season arrival from NZ and today he is on the bench for the Nerang U18 side as they take on the Southport Tigers.
Impressively Dorian Lotaki is still U16 eligible but has played all matches since his arrival in the U18 Division One competition.

Titans contracted Isaac Togia and his Goonda team mates were victorious yesterday afternoon in their Ipswich Rugby League U15 Division One semi-final, defeating Brothers 80-6 with Isaac Togia scoring in the 40th and 60th minutes with Isaac Togia converting his second try.

Yorel Alapaki is Colts eligible but has played the entire season playing against men in the Gold Coast Rugby League competition.

Great to see Titans Development Squad contract Tristian Powell score again for the Burleigh GCRL First Grade side this afternoon against Runaway Bay when in the 11th minute from close range he was able to spin clockwise to get the the ball down under the posts.
