Tough as nails Titans contracted Sam Shannon was a stand out for the Burleigh Bears Colts side this afternoon, scoring a first half double in the Bears big 44-22 Round Seven win over Central Queensland.

Isaac Matalavea-Booth celebrated his elevation to training on a limited basis with the Titans NRL squad earlier this week by also scoring in the first half.

Titans contracted Ryan Foran was simply on a different planet this afternoon from a quality perspective for Murwillumbah in Round Six of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Kyogle Turkeys.

Ryan Foran terrorised the Kyogle defence all afternoon scoring a hat trick, setting up another as well as breaking the Turkey's defensive line at will from his left second row position.

Ryan Foran impressively was backing up from Wednesday night's exceptional display for PBC in their Round One Langer Cup win over Ipswich SHS will Ryan Foran also scoring in that match as well.

Recently arrived former New Zealand U16 representative Dorian Lotaki started at halfback this afternoon and scored a double this afternoon for Nerang in their 34-12 victory over the Southport Tigers in Round Five of the GCRL U18 Division One competition. It should be noted that Dorian Lotaki is still U16 eligible this season.

In New Zealand Dorian Lotaki was primarily a hooker but on the Gold Coast he has played hooker, lock, half and now five eight for the Roosters and on Wednesday night for the Keebra Park Walters Cup school boy side he was outstanding at left centre against Marsden State High School.

Since his arrival on the Gold Coast from Auckland Atunaisa Pahulu Jnr has no doubt opened some eyes and it was no different over the course of this week.

First he started at right centre for Mabel Park SHS against Coombabah SHS on Wednesday night in Round One of the school boy Langer Cup competition and then this afternoon he started at right centre for the Southport Tigers in Round Five of the Gold Coast Rugby League U18 Division One comeptition and scored the Tigers third try in their loss to the Nerang Roosters.

Jay Blazek, Jared Johnson and Dredin Goldsmith were all outstanding for Helensvale in their 50-10 victory against Mudgeeraba and all three were backing up from playing for Coombabah in Round One of the Langer Cup that was played on Wednesday night against Mabel Park.

Some of Jay Blazek quick tap restarts when the Hornets were awarded penalties caused havoc including his try in the first half when he wetn straight through to score from twenty metres out.

Since his elevation to the Burleigh Hastings Deering's Colts squad at the conclusion of the MM Cup competition Tuvalli Khan-Pereira has comfortably handled the step up in class and that was no different as the Titans linked centre scored for the Bears in their 44-28 win over the Central Queensland Capras.

I know that I have said to before but the Casino RSM U18 NRRRL halfback is something special, but I have had no luck trying to figure out who he is.

The young man has Cody Walker's flair and ball playing ability and Adam Reynolds organisational skills and kicking ability, including goal kicking.
