Tweed Heads Seagulls junior Harry Chadburn continues develop whether that is in the centres or at fullback and more than held his own against the best 2021 U15 players running around for the Titans U15's, putting in an impressive performance at fullback.

Tough day for the Northern Rivers Titans with both the U16 and U18 sides going down in wet conditions against North Coast.

Front rower Brady Turner for me was the stand out player for the Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew johns Cup side in their match yesterday against North Coast. The young man was everywhere in the match, standing out from the kick-off with a great first up tackle.

In his first U16 Andrew Johns Cup match for the Northern Rivers Titans fullback Creedence Donovan put in a very assured performance, including looking the most dangerous Titan in attack and a great chase and tackle on a run-a-way North Coast Bulldogs player.

Half Tyler Harper is another of the outstanding 2020 U14 Tweed Heads Seagulls side that is showcasing his skill and potential with the Titans, operating on the right side of the field in the Titans U15 trial.

He may be on the smallish side but Tyler Harper is tough and does not shirk any challenge.

Titans contracted Zyroam Tarawa-Herlihy started from the bench last night for the Easts Tigers Cyril Connell Cup squad that played a trial against the Ipswich Jets at Stones Corner.

The young man is a real flyer and can play fullback, centre or on the wing.

Another young Titans contracted player in the Easts Tigers U16 Cyril Connell Cup squad in the match against Ipswich at Stones Corner was Alexandra Hills SHS student, hooker/half Gary Whare- Herlihy.

To make it a trio of Titans contracted players in the Easts Tigers Cyril Connell Cup squad for their U16 trial against the Ipswich Jets also in the squad was Hayden Miller who last month came off the bench for the Titans U17 side in their victory against the Newcastle Knights to play five eight.

Great to see former Clarence Coast Magpie Malik Elabbasi in the 2021 U16 Cyril Connell Cup Easts Tigers Cup squad.

Also good to see Gold Coast junior Kobie-Mackay-Taylor take his place on the bench for the Easts Tigers MM Cup squad in their trial last night against the Ipswich Jets.

After starting in the centres for the Titans U17 side against Newcastle, Titans contracted Antioch Faitala-Mariner started on the wing for the Easts Tigers MM Cup side last night in their trial against Ipswich.

The Titans are building a strong cohort of players who attend Marsden State High School and that number has increased with contracted Dominique Sandow attending the school in 2021 and even at just 16 years old he will push for immediate playing time in the Open A side in the GIO and Langer school boy Cup sides.

It is been around a full year since Titan Darius Farmer has played a proper match and I cannot wait to see all of the hard work that he has been putting in pay off when he lines up for the Titans against Burleigh on Friday.
