This always seemed like an obvious thing that we should have always had in place but the reality is that the level of integration with the school could always only go so far, and a player could sign wherever they liked regardless of any soft "affiliation". The agreement announced today makes the club and the school a lot stickier together and pretty much gives us the best opportunity possible to sign any student that goes through there unless they were signed to another club prior.
I hope we are working on a similar strategy with Keebra park, but I can't help but think we would be under resourced to accommodate 2 schools in this capacity.
Good news. So very very very late. And more to be done.
The Titans have established exceptionally strong links at Keebra Park, Coombabah and Ballina Coast as well.
Throw in the best couple of players from Marsden and no one can say that the Titans are not doing exceptionally well.
PS - they are not doing too badly at TSS as well.
