It was a case of the debutants for Burleigh in Round 19 of the Doug Lipp Cup last weekend. Three Burleigh U20 players made their Doug Lipp Cup debuts being Latrell Howe, Jock Sullivan and O'shea Hannaway.

Ironically all three played in the U20 match earlier in the day and all scored in the U20 match as well.

Jock Sullivan scored when he ran a good straight route on the right of the field, Oshea Hannaway when playing right centre he stepped inside the defence and ran fifty metres to score and Latrell Howe from fullback when he split the defence from around ten metres out not far from the left touch line.

Daniel Butterini’s midseason move to the NRRRL U18 competition with Murwillumbah can only be considered a success and that description was reinforced when he scored his 2nd NRRRL from just five matches when he scored in the final regular season round, being Round Eighteen against Tweed Heads.

He will be a key member of Murwillumbah’s NRRRL U18 Final’s campaign which starts this weekend.

Great to see Jayden Campbell captained the Burleigh Hastings Deering's Colts side tomorrow against the Northern Pride.

This young man has a huge future in Titans colours and will be NRL I believe late in 2020.
