In his first match in the 2019 season, being in Round 9 of the GCRL U18 Division Two competition, Klese Hass had a day out scoring four tries and kicking four goals for Robina as they defeated Runaway Bay 60-4.
In Round Seven of the Group One U15 competition, Kyogle’s Nathaniel Ord scored a double and kicked three goals as the Turkeys defeated Ballina 32-10.
For the season he has a 100% strike rate through five games and has also kicked eight goals.
Southport U14 Division One front rower Taelon Te Whiu-Hopa continued his impressive 2019 season in Round 9 last weekend starting in the front row and scoring a double as the Tigers overcame Ormeau 38-10.
He has now scored eight tries from just six matches.
The Group One U14 competition has a number of stand out players including Ballina’s Lachlan Offley who in Round Seven last Saturday scored five tries as Ballina defeated Kyogle 38-0.
Impressively through just six matches he has scored 84 points from 18 tries and 6 goals.
He also scored in his sinlge U15 date to date this season.
Young Burleigh and PBC winger Noah Croudace scored a double in Round 9 of the GCRL U18 Division One competition last weekend as Burleigh defeated Currumbin 22-10.
Burleigh U14 Division One strike centre Kalahni Lawrence continued his strong season by scoring a double as the Bears accounted for Currumbin 74-0.
He has also this season scored 12 tries from just seven matches as well as representing the GC Vikings U14’s and will represent SEQ as well.
