Former Ballina Seagull and St Johns College Woodlawn student Jordan Sly made his NRRRL First Grade debut for his new club Evans Head in Round One last weekend, starting in the second row and scoring as the Bombers went down 26-22 to Murwillumbah.
The Tweed Heads Seagulls U18 side is playing the 2019 season in the NRRRL U18 competition and in Round One one of their try scorers was giant front rower Jordan Tauali’l who played well in the U18 Laurie Daley Cup for the Northern Rivers Titans earlier this season.
Intriguing backline utility Thomas Vickery who was the U18 Northern Rivers Titans top points scorer in the Laurie Daley Cup competition this season kicked four goals for Murwillumbah in Round One of the NRRRL U18 competition last weekend in their 36-4 win over Evans Head.
