AJ Brimson was the smallest Titan on the field yesterday but regardless he ran for more metres than the majority of his team mates, running for 108 metres, 34 post contact. It was the third time this season that he has run for in excess of 100 metres.

AJ also made a line break, five tackle breaks, forced a line break and kicked for 156 metres.

It was a tough afternoon for the youthful Burleigh GCRL First Grade side this afternoon going down 34-10 to Runaway Bay but Titans outstanding 19 year old winger Mikey Williams scored his 7th try in eight first grade matches.

Mikey Williams is still Colts eligible in 2019 but I would anticipate that he will find himself in the Queensland Cup next season, if not higher.

Starting at lock Titans contracted Brody Smitka scored his first try of the season in Round 11 of the U16 Division One competition on Friday night for Helensvale as they defeated Southport 20-10.

It is a great effort by Brody Smitka to play every match in the U16 Division One competition this season even though he was still eligible for the U15 Division One competition.

Look I know that he is contracted to the Sydney Roosters but I can only dream that one day Josh Bevan will be back in a Titans jersey.

Regardless of the age group or standard having a 100% try scoring strike rate is no mean feat so Nerang U14 Division One fullback Kyen Murphy can feel rightly proud of the season that he has had scoring 11 tries from as many matches.

In the final regular season round last weekend he scored a double as the Roosters defeated Mudgeeraba 26-10.
