    PBC student and Titans linked Daniel Butturini started two matches over the weekend.

    On Friday night he started for Currumbin in their U16 Division One 24-22 win over Southport and then backed up to start on the wing for the Eagles in their U17 Division One victory over Bilambil. It was his debut U17 Division One match.

    A fortnight off his NRL debut Jai Whitbread continues to make a strong case for another shot with the Titans in the NRL.

    In Round 20 against PNG he came off the bench playing 54 minutes, running for 106 metres (second match in a row running >100 metres), 29 post contact, had a career equally five tackle breaks and made 28 tackles at a tackling efficiency of 96.55%

    In his debut GCRL U19 match former Coombsbah SHS student Ihaka Pihere started at five eight and scored for Southport in Round 14 as they squeezed past Ormeau 25-24 on the back of a Kobe Whalen field goal.

    Woolgoolga five eight Emmanuel Sutton who has been involved in Titans Development Squads scored a try (his first of the season) and kicked four goals in Round Ten of the Group Two U16.5 competition on Sunday as Woolgoolga defeated Smithtown 30-22.

    The 15 year old who has played the entire season up an age group has now played in nine U16.5 matches scoring a try and kicking 13 goals for a 30 point haul

    Titans linked hooker Jonah Whitlam-Rose who plays for South Tweed in the Group 18 Junior Rugby League competition at the U16 level is a player with a maturity and leadership qualities that are on display every time he runs onto a field.

    Earlier this season he captained the Northern Rivers U16 Andrew Johns Cup side taking them to the finals.

    In the competition he started at hooker in each of their five matches and scored a double in Round One against the Newcastle Knights U16 Development Squad in a solid Northern Rivers win.

    Representative honours are nothing new for Jonah Whitlam-Rose, he represented Group 18 at the NSW Country U15 Championships in 2017 in three matches scoring a hat trick against Group 19 and in 2016 represented Group 18 at the U14 level

    In his 5th Queensland Cup game Titans Rookie Squad member Kai O’Donnell was again a spark off the interchange bench for Burleigh in Round 20 against PNG.

    He young backrower and occasional hooker was on the field for 28 metres, making 84 metres, 24 post contact and also had two tackle breaks.

    Kai O’Donnell has made an even bigger impact defensively and in the match against PNG did not miss a tackle for the 4th time in five matches.

    In an unbelievable situation, Kai O’Donnell has made 83 tackles this Queensland Cup season missing just two for a staggering tackling efficiency of 97.65%.

    Did someone say NRL next year

    Titans contracted Rowan Mansfield started in Round 15 of the Group One U15 competition scoring for Ballina as they defeated Casino RSM 38-4. It was his third try of the season.

    He then backed up to play in the U16.5 match between the two teams which saw Ballina go down 28-24. The match was Rowan Mansfield’s second in the U16.5 previously scoring on debut against Kyogle

    Exciting to see standout former Logan Brothers second rower Stanley Jackson dominate in his second GCRL U17 Division One match for Helensvale as they defeated Mudgeeraba 58-16.

    Starting in the second row the star youngster was close to unstoppable on his way to scoring four tries in the Hornets victory.

    The powerful young right sided second rower is a former Titans U14 development squad member who just continued to elevate his game with the incredible Logan Brothers Club in Brisbane’s south.

    Earlier this season he was part of the Easts Tigers MM Cup side, playing all seven of their matches. He started one match at lock, one in the second row, four in the front row and one from the interchange bench.

    He scored tries in Rounds Five and Six against Redcliffe and Northern Pride respectively.

    In 2017 Stanley Jackson was part of the Brisbane Red U16 representative side for the South East Queensland U16 pre-season competition.

    In 2015 Stanley Jackson started in the front row for the Titans U14 development squad in their 28-10 win against Samoa. He also captained his U14 Logan Brothers club side in their GBJRL grand final that same year at Nundah against Wynnum Manly.

    Stanley Jackson made numerous representative sides in 2015 including U14 Stingers and U14 South East Queensland for the Queensland age championships in June, starting in the front row for both of those representative sides. Previously Stanley Jackson has been part of the Titans, Broncos and Cowboys development squads

    Big strong tough Queensland U16 representative and Titans contracted Sam Shannon led his Southport side from the lock position scoring as they were edged by Currumbin 24-22 in their Round Ten U16 Division One clash.

    The three Shannon brothers, being Samuel, Joseph and Daniel could be the Titans version of the Burgess Brothers in future years.

    These boys are hard tackling, hard running talented stars of the future for the Titans

    Fresh after starting at hooker for the Queensland U16 side, Titans contracted Ediq Ambrosyev started at five eight for the Currumbin U16 Division side and scored as Currumbin edged Southport 24-22 in Round Ten last Friday night.

    The try was his 9th from just seven games in the U16 Division One competition.

    Ediq Ambrosyev then on Saturday made his U17 Division One debut when he started at five eight for Currumbin as they defeated Bilambil 20-14.

    The PBC youngster has been in outstanding form this season

    South Grafton Rebels Tyrhys Brown has been on a tear in the last four rounds of the Group One U15 competition scoring ten tires in that time including four tries in Round in Round Eleven against Kyogle and in Round Twelve last weekend he scored a hat trick against Clarence Coast in a Rebels 42-10 win.

    Outstanding Grafton Ghosts youngster Grayson Reimer played his second match "up" in the Group One U14 competition in Round Twelve last weekend and scored double against Clarence Coast in a 24-8 Ghosts loss.

    His first game in the U14 competition was also against Clarence Coast in early July a game in which he scored in as well.

    In the Group One U13 competition this season Grayson Reimer has scored a staggering 37 tries from just 10 matches.

    Big strong South Grafton Rebels U13 youngster Isaac Barker had a huge match last weekend in Round Twelve of the Group One U13 competition scoring six tries to lead South Grafton to a 36-18 win.

    In Round Eleven he scored five tires in a match against Kyogle and five also earlier in the season against Clarence Coast.

    Through ten U13 matches this season Isaac Barker has scored 30 tries and that takes into account that in his first two matches this season he was held tryless.

    Isaac Barker is also a more than handy rugby No. 8.

    Burleigh MM Cup player Ronan Kapi has been named at outside centre (No,13) for Round Three of the GPS School Boy Rugby First XV competition tomorrow as TSS are at home to Toowoomba Grammar School.
