Interesting to see 19 year old Liam Hori-Clarke start at half back for Ormeau in Round Ten of the GCRL First Grade competition on the weekend, in just his third First Grade game he had played wing, five eight and now half back.

With the Colts competition having their mid-season break it was positive to see a number of Titans Rookie Squad members gaining experience in the GCRL First Grade competition.

One such player was Curtis Dansey-Smaller who started on the left wing in his second First Grade game as Tweed Heads overcame Bilambil 34-28.

After missing out last weekend in Round Nine front rower Logan Cootes returned to the try scoring list in Round Ten of the U19 competition over the weekend scoring a double as Mudgeeraba defeated Beaudesert 62-18 and has maintained his position as the competitions leading try scorer.

A front rower leading a competitions try scoring tally midway through the season, everyone else should hang their heads in shame, but seriously well done to him
