    Former Singleton youngster Tytan Lord scored his first try since arriving on the Gold Coast when he scored for Helensvale in their U17 Division One Round Four victory over Tweed Heads on Saturday.

    In just his second game he scored after starting the match in the centres.

    The Tweed Heads Seagulls U17 Division One side lost their first match of the season in Round four on Saturday when they were defeated 22-4 by Helensvale. They have been great for the competition this season.

    Former Tingha half Tiger Rawlings scored his fifth try of the season for the Seagulls.

    In his debut First Grade match this afternoon Zane Harris scored for Southport in their 28-26 win over Ormeau.

    In his Queensland Cup debut in the weekend for Burleigh and tough frusty Zae Wallace got 27 minutes of game time and also made 22 tackles as well as making a dart or two out of dummy half.

    In his GCRL First grade debut for Burleigh yesterday Titans Rookie Squad member Kai O’Donnell celebrated by scoring however the Bears went down to Tugun 22-16.

    Former Titans NYC player Jordan Birch scored his first GCRL First Grade try yesterday for Southport in their 28-26 Round Seven win over Ormeau when he started at five eight. He has also played a number of matches for the Tweed Heads Colts side this season.

    Well done to PBC student Caleb Hodges who at just 17 recently made his GCRL First Grade for Bilambil. He started Round Five on the wing in a tough 26-18 loss to Tugun. Earlier in the year he played MM with Tweed Heads.

    After a couple of weeks playing for Tweed Heads in the Gold Coast Rugby League First Grade competition, Tony Matautia was back in the Tweed Heads Queensland Cup side for Round Thirteen on the weekend.

    In the match that he started from the interchange bench, Tony Matautia played a career high 38 minutes, running for 48 metres, 22 post contact and making six tackles.

    It is great to see lightning quick Conrad Green back on the Gold Coast after spending a couple of season going to school in Brisbane at Brisbane Boys College (BBC) where injuries really did curtain his GPS First XV career.

    Conrad Green is a Mackay product who signed with the Brisbane Broncos as a 15 year old and moved down to the Gold Coast, playing with the Gold Coast Green CC Cup squad in 2015 and in that same year was selected as part of the Queensland U16 side.

    Conrad Green is playing for the Bilambil Jets in the Gold Coast Rugby League First Grade competition and played his first match for the Jets in Round Seven in a 32 – 12 loss to Currumbin yesterday afternoon.

    In addition to kicking seven goals from eight attempts, Tyronne Roberts-Davis played all 80 minutes on the wing for Burleigh in their 42 – 20 win over Ipswich in Round Thirteen on the weekend.

    He also had four tackle breaks on his way to running for 111 metres, 43 post contact and made two tackles.

    For the second week in a row Jai Whitbread had some Queensland Cup career highs for Burleigh in their win over Ipswich in Round Thirteen on the weekend.

    In his first career start, Jai Whitbread played a career high 70 minutes, ran for a career high 166 metres, 55 post contact with a career high five tackle breaks, a line break and also made a career high 31 tackles.
