Titans contracted youngster and PBC student Ezra Ubaldino played his first match of the season for Burleigh on the weekend in their U16 Division One Round Two loss to Southport.

Even though he is still eligible to play in the U15 age group, as he did last season Ezra Ubaldino is playing up an age group and scored Burleigh’s only try of the match after starting from the bench.

Big strong young Titans Group One development squad member Ashdon Randell scored two tries and kicked five goals for Grafton as they defeated Clarence Coast in the Group One U14 JRL Round Five match last weekend.

Titans youngster Jed Bignell started at five eight and scored for his U15 Norths Gold in their Ipswich rugby league Round Five match last Friday night. Unfortunately his Norths Gold side were defeated by Goodna 26-14.

Jed Bignell was one of the standouts for the Titans U15 side that defeated Western Mustangs earlier this year.

The NSW CCC U15 trials are on today to Sydney with Titans contracted half Thomas Weaver in the Northern Country trial side.

Last weekend in Round Five of the Group Two U18 competition Titans contracted second rower Ben Liyou scored and led from the front as his Grafton Ghosts side held on to defeat the previously undefeated Coffs Harbour 22-18. The 17 year old has already made his Group Two First Grade debut earlier this season and has a big future ahead of him.

Another week another position for Titans 2017 NYC player Jordan Birch. Over the last fortnight he has played half and fullback and he has been named at five eight for Southport in their match tomorrow against Runaway Bay in Round Six of the Gold Coast Rugby League competition.

Great to see another member of the Titans Rookie Squad being given an opportunity in the Gold Rugby League First Grade competitions this weekend for Burleigh when Lochlyn Sheldon is scheduled to start on the bench for their match on Sunday against Bilambil

Also in the Burleigh side are Darius Farmer (interchange) and Mikey Williams (wing) along with Zae Wallace who has been named at half

With some players to the Burleigh GCRL First Grade side there has been some movement for the Burleigh Colts side. Allan Lockwood who has been playing in the GCRL First Grade Burleigh side will line up in the centres, Taine Tuaupiki is back after a week in the Burleigh First grade side and Braden Amundsen is in line for his Colts debut after being named on an extended bench.

Great to see Titans youngster Kel Sheather back for Tweed Colts for their match this Sunday against the Sunshine Coast Falcons after missing a few matches with injury.

He started off the season in outstanding form in the Colts competition at half even though he was eligible to play in the MM Cup.

Difficult evening for the Western Mustangs Colts side Townsville. In a certain raiser to the NRL match between the Cowboys and Storm they went down 52-0. Four Titans Rookie Squad members were in the Western Mustangs side.
