Creedence Donovan continued on the right wing for the Burleigh Bears in Round Five of the MM Cup against the Norths Devils with Creedence Donovan a double in a big Burleigh victory

Creedence Donovan scored the first of his two tries in the 21st minute when after coming off his right wing to run onto a pass on the left side of the field, Creedence Donovan ran from the halfway mark to forty metres out before throwing a beautiful cut-out pass to his left to Disharne Tonihi. Creedence Donovan then backed up on the inside to get the ball back from his left centre and have a thirty metre uninterrupted run to score under the posts.

Creedence Donovan completed his double in the 50th minute when after receiving a cut-out pass from inside when on the right touchline and ten metres out, Creedence Donovan stepped inside when around three metres out to look to beat his opposing winger but after being held just short of the try line Creedence Donovan reached up with the ball in his right arm to score in the right corner.

Creedence Donovan also did well in the 40th minute with a darting run down the right touchline from thirty three metres from his own try line to within four metres of the halfway mark.
