The Cudgen Hornets NRRRL U18 side for their Round One match against Byron Bay on Sunday has a distinct Titans feel to it with Reef Sommerville at left centre, Thomas Weaver at half, Jack Cullen in the front row and Oskar Bryant at hooker to name a few of the Titans contracted players involved.

Unfortunately a Titan or two will miss the match with injury.

Tino Faasuamaleaui proved once again that the Titans have snared a very impressive youngster for 2021 with a barnstorming two try performance against the Broncos.

Starting from the bench he, in just 50 minutes, ran for 169 metres (51 post contact) which was the most of any forward on the field, broke four tackles, played the ball at an average speed of 3.54 seconds and also recorded a 100% tackling efficiency from his 23 tackles.

TSS came back from 21-7 down to win 24-21 in wet conditions. Nic Hilton's work rate was outstanding and Kaleb Ngamanu put in a key kick that resulted in the try to Jojo Fifita to put TSS in front with two minutes to go.
