The Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns Cup side stacked with Titans who the competition going through undefeated but the 2020 version of the side will be no less impressive.
The Northern Rivers region is as impressive as any region in NSW from a junior development perspective and due to Jamie McCormack and his staff the Titans are reaping the rewards and are the team of choice (easily).

I have always been a fan of rugby league players who play more than one sport, two Gold Coast Junior Rugby League Players who hit that criteria are LT Anae and Matthew Ioane the 2019 U16 players both are playing basketball in the offside for the Coomera Warriors in the U20 A boys competition as well as the Gold Coast Mens Open A competition. A great achievement for both.

You have to give a huge wrap to Jamie McCormack who has been able to bring in such talent to the Titans JTS program including for me the best U16 player in Australia in Thomas Weaver and the best New Zealand based U15 player in Keano Kini (2019 U15 NZ Player of the NZ U15 Youth Tournament and U16 Auckland Player of the season). Both are future NRL players.
Absolutely Outstanding.

A number of Titans juniors have had to have off season surgery including Ryan Foran, Brock Priestley and star in the making Bailey Martin.
Wishing all three a speedy recovery.

Another youngster attending Keebra Park that people should keep an eye on is powerful Ipswich youngster PJ Poutasi.
The young man has tree trunks for legs and is difficult at tackle one on one and has also played rugby as well.

Great to see Clarence Coast youngster AJ Hickling being selected in the Titans Group One Elite Academy that is training every Tuesday afternoon in Ballina. The speedster played the 2019 season with the Clarence Coast Magpies in the Group One U13 competition.

Clarence Coast Magpies flyer Reece Warburton is currently training once a week in Ballina with the Titans Group One Junior Academy.
He played in ten matches in the Group One U14 competition this season and scored in all of them to finish with eighteen tries on the season. Reece Warburton also kicked fifteen goals to break through the 100 point mark, finishing with 102.
Reece Warburton’s season started with a bang scoring five tries and kicking two goals in Round One against Lismore Marist Brothers and went from strength from strength from there. He added a late season hat trick against South Grafton as well as a double against Ballina.
Reece Warburton’s remaining tries came in separate matches against Kyogle, South Grafton, Casino RSM twice and Grafton twice.
The MacLean High School student’s 2019 was no fluke as was evidenced by his 2018 season. In 11 Group One U13 matches in 2018 he averaged two tries per game (200% strike rate) and also kicked 14 goals to finish the season with 116 points.
Reece Warburton scored five tries in a June match against Kyogle and added four in Round One against Casino RSM. In addition he scored hat tricks against Lismore Marist Brothers and South Grafton, going on to score in ten of his eleven matches.

McLean High School and Clarence Coast Magpie Malik Elabbasi is part of the Titans Group One Junior Academy squad training weekly in Ballina.
This season Malik Elabbasi represented the Group One U14 representative side at the NSW Country Age Championships starting all of their matches at lock and was named DEX Shield U14 Player of the Year after leading McLean High School to the title.
Of course Malik Elabbasi was also part of the Clarence Coast U14 side that played in the Group One U14 competition,

One player I anticipate that will be a key player for the Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns Cup squad in 2020 is Titans linked Damon Coldwell.
The young man is a real flyer.
-
One of the stand out players in the 2020 Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns Cup squad is Titans stand out half Harvey Moase.
Recently Harvey Moase was a stand out for the Titans U15 side in their comprehensive victory over the Balmain Tigers.
-
Good to see South Grafton Rebel Jordan Gallagher named in the 2020 Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup squad.
