Boyd was brought on for Hetherington (Broncos hooker) very early and has surprisingly done well. Beaut 40/20.

A number of Round Nine matches were cancelled due to the weather in the Group One competition but a number of matches did go ahead including in the U14 competition where Laine Toohey scored a double as Casino RSM defeated Kyogle 16-6.

The double means that Laine Toohey has now scored eleven tries from just seven matches this season.

Talented second row prospect Simon Pratt scored his second NRRRL U18 ty in just four matches this season last weekend in Round 14 as his Casino RSM side defeated Kyogle 18-8.

Kyogle’s Round 9 Group One U15 win 44-0 over Casino RSM included Nathaniel Ord scoring his 7th try of the season from as many games and he has also kicked 15 goals.

Outstanding fullback Lachlan West broke the 100 points on the season barrier from just 11 matches last weekend when he scored his 11th try of the season and also kicked his 30th goal for Casino RSM as they defeated Kyogle 18-8.

Titans linked fullback Ziah Piggott scored his 10th try of the season when he scored for Kyogle in their Group One U15 Round 9 44-0 win over Casino RSM.

Interesting to see Callum Boomer named at lock for the Tweed Heads Seagulls Colts side for the local derby against Burleigh this weekend. Callum has played in the centres for the majority of this season.

Yeah I thought Tanah brought a fair bit of spark off the bench , far better than Hetherington , I think the u18 boys would have put up a better effort than the 20s

Tannah Boyd will start at five eight for Burleigh in their GCRL Round 15 First Grade match on Sunday against Tiguan.

Brent Woolf was scheduled to make his GCRL First Grade debut for Currumbin a couple of rounds ago, but was not able to take the field, he has however been named on the bench for Round 15 as Currumbin host Southport tomorrow afternoon.

Titans contracted Jaylon To’O is set to make his second GCRL First Grade appearance tomorrow afternoon when he starts at half for Runaway Bay in their Round Fifteen match against Ormeau.
