Great to see Darius Farmer back on the field for the Burleigh GCRL First Grade side on Sunday. He played about half the match and was unlucky not to score when he chased through an attacking kick in the second half.

He played on the right and I am sure will play NRL next season for the Titans.

For the second week in a row Titans NRL Development contract holder Ioane Seiuli will start in the second row for the Tweed Heads Seagulls Queensland Cup side for this weekends match against the Easts Tigers.

Over the off season with the Titans NRL squad it will be interesting to see whether the Titans are looking to make his move from the centres to the second row a permanent one.

Titans contracted Joseph Shannon has been outstanding in the GCRL U15 Division One competition this season and on Friday night made his deserved U16 Division One debut when he came off the bench for Runaway Bay against Helensvale in a tough 24-10 loss after playing in the U15 match earlier in the night.

It was a big weekend for the Shannon family with Joseph’s older brothers, Daniel and Samuel, both scoring after starting from the bench in the Burleigh Hasting’s Deering’s Colts side.

They are the Titans version of the Burgess brother’s but the Titans version has better discipline.
