Nothing changes when it comes to selections in these sides , the White team was as expected but i'm pretty sure the Green team was picked prior to Thursday nights match which is a shame because there are a few picked who will be found out very quickly when they are up against real opposition..

A couple of interesting names in MM Green, Sam Dobb and Bayley Loughhead, both from the Canberra area.
cc teams are interesting the green side have 6 yes i repeat 6 front rowers...the white team way behind..the green side on paper much stronger in my opinion.

Keebra Park recently announced their 2015 Team of the Year, AJ Brimson was named five eight and Geordie Brand in the front row. One to watch out for is Tuvalli Khan-Pereira who played at centre for Keebra U13's and backrow for Burleigh U12's he also played for Maori U14's at the recent QPICC and was named the Maori U14 best player. Next years U13's in the GCJRL competition is full of very talented young players.

Congratulations to Titans linked centre Caleb Nicholls who has been named in the NSW U16 squad for 2016. Caleb is also part of the Gold Coast Green CC squad for next year. He is a talented young centre from just south of the border and attends St Joseph's College Banora Point.

Congratulations also to Ethan Kane, Oscar Clarke Kade Hill and Daniel Butterini for being selected as part of the Group 18 2016 development squads. Well done to all. Caleb Nicholls was also understandably selected
There are a couple of very talented young boys who we must keep in the race for, specifically they are Daine Laurie who was the Group One U16 played of the year, and NRRRL U18 new player of the year. The young fullback scored 10 tries at the U18 level and 11 at the U16 level, he played with Titans linked front rower Kyron Herron, a number of clubs are circling. Also young fullback Julian Torrens who scored 30 tries and 19 goals in 11 matches for Clarence Coast U13's and Tyrhys Williams with 26 tries in 12 games at the U13 level for Casino RSM U13 as well as playing eight games in U14's are ones we need to keep on for the future. Tyrhys was a member of our development squad in the area. The talent running around in our own backyard is quite incredible, things are looking promising for the future.

Our backyard being the GCJRL continues to get stronger. The group of young boys coming up to the U13 level next year, is an exceptional group with some very talented young players on the verge of becoming involved in our development squads. The players below are just some of the young players to keep an eye on if you are at any junior games on the coast:
Jayden Wright (Burleigh) 5/8
Tuvalla-Afoa Khan Pereira (Burleigh) backrow
Ezra Ubaldino (Currumbin) backrow
Connor Te Kani (Runaway Bay) centre
Jordan Wilson (Ormeau) 5/8
JT Manuofetoa (Ormeau) backrow
Syris Schmidt (Nerang) 5/8 - He played a fair bit of U13 even though he was eligible for U12
Fingers crossed we can develop a squad full of talented locals moving into the future
Another talented player from the Group One junior competition that I believe may be linking with our development squad in the area next year is Ballina's Onyx Gamble.
daine laurie is very very small but a big heart..preston campbell like.watched him play against my boy in the 18s
Bit of an article about Greg Bird helping out as assistant coach of the MM White side from the Official Site

Titans linked backrower Elijah Rasiga from Armidale had a great season for Armidale in the Group 19 junior competition scoring 16 tries in eleven games, to be the competitions top try scorer.
