Well done to Michael Roberts for being named the Titans U17 Player of the Match in their victory on Saturday against Newcastle.

A great start to Sam McIntyre's career in a Titans jersey when he scored for the Titans U19 side in their 40-6 victory over Newcastle on Saturday, he scored when he ran a good line and barged over off a pass from elusive Titans dummy half Oskar Bryant.

After an injury interrupted start to the 2020 season it was great to see Ryan Foran start at left second row for the Titans U19 side in their big win over Newcastle on Saturday with Ryan Foran scoring to cap off a great start to Ryan Foran's 2021 seasn.

Ryan Foran charged onto a pass from hooker Ediq Ambrosyev only a metre or so from the line. When he hit the defensive line Ryan Foran spun 360 degrees clockwise to gain seperation from the Knights defenders and then it was just a case of him diving over to get the ball down midway between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

It was a homecoming of sorts on Saturday for former Coffs Harbour junior Troy Duckett when he started on the left wing for the Titans U19 side in their victory against Newcastle.

Jaylan De Groot's first game for the Titans could not have gone much better. He started at fullback for the Titans U19 side in their 40-6 victory and as has become his trademark, was a multiple try scorer putting the ball down under the posts on each occasion, well one was very very close.

Does anyone have a link to the match video. I'd be interested to watch the game.

I am a bit confused. Are there two Sam McIntyres?

Yes mate, one the NRL second rower from the Wests Tigers, the second the 2020 NZ U18 captain from Auckland who will play for Burleigh Colts, also a second rower.

They signed at around the same time which caused HS and I all sorts of confusion!!!!!

Thanks for removing the confusion. Until they play in the same team.

The Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns and U18 Laurie Daley Cup squads have their first trial this coming Sunday at Yamba against the North Coast Bulldogs.

There are a number of Titans linked/contracted players in both the U16's and U18's.

This years TSS First XV school boy rugby side is likely to have at three Titans contracted players in their starting line-up, being Kaleb Ngamanu, Syris Schmidt and Nic Hilton.

The season does not kick off until July but when it does TSS will have a Round One home fixture against Brisbane Grammar School.
