For Helensvale 16 year old Titan Brody Smitka started in the second row and Titan Brodyn Gudgeon started at half and scored and centre Brent Barnes scored a double.
Ormeau centre Andre Semu scored for the 6th match in a row.

A big effort by Helensvale hooker Alexander Drewe who finished the GCRL U20 regular season as the competitions leading point’s scorer with an impressive 190 points from twenty matches made up of 16 tries and 63 goals.
He is still U20 eligible in 2020.

Runaway Bay’s Tira Rau continued his stellar try scoring run in the final regular season round of the GCRL U20 competition on Sunday being Round 20 when he scored his 8th try from his last try matches as the Seagulls defeated Currumbin 30-22.

Currumbin centre Benjamin Kebby, with his two tries in Round 20 on Sunday finished the GCRL U20 regular season competition with a 100% strike rate from eighteen matches. Currumbin have qualified for the Finals series even though they went down 30-22 to Runaway Bay on the weekend.

Even though he was eligible for the U18’s second rower Brendan Hoffman spent a lot of this season in the GCRL U20 competition and on the weekend in Round Twenty scored his second U20 try of the season for Runaway Bay as they defeated Currumbin 30-22.
