In addition to scoring his first Queensland Cup try, Titans NRL squad member Jesse Arthurs had a solid Queensland Cup debut for Burleigh in their six point loss to Norths in Round One yesterday.
He played the entire 80 minutes at left centre making 122 metres from 13 runs, 36 of his metres were post contact and seven from kick returns, he had two line breaks and a play the ball average of 3.32 seconds.
Defensively Jesse Arthurs made eight tackles with only one miss.

Titans NRL squad member Jai Whitbread had an outstanding match off the bench yesterday for Burleigh in their Round One Queensland Cup match against Norths.
In his 38 minutes on the field he took ten carries for 116 metres, 57 post contact (49.14%), broke two tackles and had a play the ball average of a more than decent 3.22 seconds.
Defensively Jai Whitbread had a tackling efficiency of 95.24% making 20 effective tackles, missing only one.

Exciting Titans Development player Ioane Seuili had an impressive Tweed Heads Seagulls Queensland Cup debut yesterday on the wing against PNG. (He played one Queensland Cup for Souths Logan last year).
In his 80 minutes on the field he ran for 105 metres from nine runs, 46 of those metres post contact (43.81%), had an offload, broke two tackles and had an impressive play the ball average of 3.26 seconds as well as one off-load.
Defensively Ioane Seulili made two tackles as well. This young man is not fat away from NRL even though he is just 18 years old.

Outstanding Titans talent Darius Farmer played his second Queensland Cup match yesterday when he came off the bench for Burleigh against PNG. He played 26 minutes, took two hit-ups for 26 metres, 11 post contact, broke two tackles, had a play the ball average of 3.48 seconds and made nine tackles missing only one.

The newest Titans NRL signing Tremain Spry made his Queensland Cup debut in Round One yesterday for Tweed Heads in their 10 win over PNG.
Playing centre Tremain Spry played the entire 80 minutes taking nine runs for 92 metres, 36 post contact, had an off-load, broke four tackles and had a play the ball average of 3.91 seconds.
Defensively Tremain Spry made nine tackles missing only one.

A number of Titans got on the score board in Match Day One of the South East Queensland U16 Challenge over the weekend.
For Gold Coast Vikings White, Ezra Ubaldino scored as his side defeated Brisbane Green 32 – 10.
For Gold Coast Vikings Yellow, hooker Caleb Gould-Waiariki scored a hat trick and kicked a conversion and front rower Brody Smitka scored as GC Yellow defeated Brisbane Red 32 – 10.

Another player new to the Gold Coast this season will be New Zealander Bryden Reeves who has moved over from the Manawatu region and will line up for the Nerang Roosters U18 side for the upcoming Gold Coast Rugby League
