    Against his Titans team mates Will Evans had a big match for Burleigh in Friday night’s trial. He started on the right wing for the Burleigh Queensland Cup side in their 2020 trial against the Titans at Pizzey Park. Late in the match after switching to left centre Will Evans almost scored when he took an intercept ten metres out from his own line and burst down the left wing, only to be caught in an outstanding tackle a metre out from scoring by Jayden Campbell.

    In total in the match Will Evans ran for 117 metres (eighty seven post contact) and made ten tackles at a 90.81% tackling efficiency.

    Tremain Spry’s first 2020 appearance was for the Titans in the 2020 NRL 9’s 18 man tournament in Perth in February. In the Titans opening match against the Canberra Raiders, Tremain Spry ran for thirty metres on three runs and made two tackles at a 100% tackling efficiency.

    In the Titans quarter final victory over Manly Tremain Spry ran for thirty eight metres from three hit-ups and broke a team leading five tackles.

    In total in the 2020 NRL Nine’s tournament, Tremain Spry played in two matches, ran for sixty eight metres from six runs, broke five tackles and made two of his own.

    Tremain Spry started from the bench in the Titans first NRL trial of 2020 against Burleigh at Pizzey Park. In the match Tremain Spry ran for forty four metres, an impressive twenty one of which were post contact, broke three tackles and made eleven tackles.

    Erin Clark is making a strong case for selection in the Titans NRL Round One squad to play Canberra with his performances in 2020 to date.

    Erin Clark made an immediate impression on the Titans coaching staff being named in the Titans 2020 NRL 9’s 18 man squad. In the Titans opening match against the Canberra Raiders, Erin Clark ran for ten metres on two carries and made a team leading ten tackles at a 100% tackling efficiency.

    Erin Clark made a further 37 metres from three run, broke a tackle and made five tackles in Game Two against the Wests Tigers. In the Titans semi-final loss to North Queensland Erin Clark ran for forty nine metres on four runs, broke a tackle and made two tackles.

    In total in the 2020 NRL Nine’s tournament, Erin Clark played in three matches, ran for ninety six metres from nine runs, broke two tackles and made seventeen tackles.

    Erin Clark also started at hooker for the Titans first NRL trial of 2020 against Burleigh at Pizzey Park and was one of the Titans best in their two point loss. In his time on the field Erin Clark ran for forty four metres (fourteen post contact), broke two tackles and made a team leading thirty seven tackles at a 94.87% tackling efficiency. In addition Erin Clark made seventy nine metres from three kicks out of dummy half, including a 40/20 late in the first half that led to the Titans first try.

    Titans NRL Development contract holder Kea Pere started in the second row for the Titans first NRL trial of 2020 against Burleigh at Pizzey Park last Friday night and certainly made an impression running for eighty nine metres (twenty four post contact), broke two tackles, had a line break assist and made thirty one tackles at a tackling efficiency of 93.94%.

    Great to see Stand out Titans contracted left second rower Ryan Foran named on an extended bench for the Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup sides Round Three match against Central Coast this Saturday.

    It will be a return from a long term injury if Ryan Foran makes the final squad.

    Depth in the second row will be in an issue for the Tweed Heads Seagulls U20 Colts squad in 2020 with the likes of Lachlan Hallard in the squad.

    The Bilambil Jets and former South Tweed Bear junior was outstanding over the course of the 2018 and 2019 seasons as part of the Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup squad and in 2020 is part of the Tweed Heads Seagulls Hastings Deering’s Colts squad.

    One of Lachlan Hallard’s first appearances for the Seagulls Colts squad was in their trial against the U23 NRRRL representative side.

    In the 2019 U18 Laurie Daley Cup competition, Lachlan Hallard started Round One in the right centre position for the Northern Rivers Titans in their clash against the Newcastle Knights Development Squad.

    Round Two of the 2019 Laurie Daley Cup competition saw Lachlan Hallard start their match against Parramatta from the interchange bench.

    Lachlan Hallard was back in the starting line-up for the Northern Rivers Titans side at right centre in their derby match against the North Coast Bulldogs in Round Three.

    In Round Four against the Central Coast Roosters Lachlan Hallard started at five eight for the Northern Rivers Titans and was a solid performer in the five eight position.

    Lachlan Hallard also started at five eight in Round Five against the Greater Northern Tigers and scored when he darted out of dummy half to his right near to score adjacent to the right goal post, with Thomas Vickery kicking the resultant conversion.

    After the completion of the 2019 Laurie Daley Cup competition Lachlan Hallard lined up for Cudgen in Round One of the U18 NRRRL competition, starting in the centres and scoring as his Hornets side went down 28-16 to Lismore Marist Brothers.

    In the 2019 NRRRL U18 regular season competition Lachlan Hallard played in fifteen of Cudgen’s matches scoring eight tries along the way. In addition to a double against Tweed Heads, Lachlan Hallard also scored in matches against Lismore Marist Brothers, Lower Clarence, Ballina, Casino RSM, Byron Bay and Kyogle.

    In Week One of the 2019 U18 NRRRL Finals series Lachlan Hallard was part of the Cudgen side that progressed after defeating Lismore Marist Brothers 24 – 10. Lachlan Hallard also started in Cudgen’s Preliminary Final victory over Byron Bay and their 24 – 6 Grand Final loss to Ballina.

    In Round One after playing in the NRRRL U18 match Lachlan Hallard then backed up coming off the bench in the Reserve Grade match which co-incidentally also finished 28 – 16 will Lismore Marist Brothers also winning that match.

    In June 2019 Lachlan Hallard made his NRRRL First Grade debut when he played against Lismore Marist Brothers.

    In 2018 Lachlan Hallard played in three matches for the Northern Rivers Titans Laurie Daley Cup squad, starting each of those in the second row and scored in Rounds Four and Five against the Central Coast Roosters and Greater Northern Tigers respectively.

    Post the 2018 Laurie Daley Cup competition Lachlan Hallard played in three different competitions for the Bilambil Jets in the Gold Coast Rugby League competition.

    In the 2018 U17 Division One competition, Lachlan Hallard played in eight matches and in the U19 competition, he played in seven, making his debut against Helensvale in May and scored his sole try in the GCRL competition against Burleigh in August.

    At just 17 years old, Lachlan Hallard made his GCRL First Grade debut in Round Sixteen against the Burleigh Bears, starting the match at fullback. Lachlan Hallard also started at fullback in Round Seventeen against Currumbin with following week
