Despite not having the honor to physically see what was and is going on, I really appreciated your time and role, so thanks .
All the best!
Aiming for the title farthest away fan
You will be missed David May. I hope you will be cheering for the club and also hit the forums from time to time. You will have a special place in the hearts of the fans because you have instilled confidence into the Gold Coast brand. I hope the team can play for you this year.
p.s. Since you're part of the fans now you can rant on about how much of a *edit* Searle is. Dont hold back

2013 - Sezer's breakout year
I made a post in the other David May thread this morning, but basically I said that we all owe a huge debt of gratitude to Mr May.
He has been putting in the hard yards behind the scenes, all the while helping us all feel directly connected to him and the club with his refreshing initiatives like speaking directly to us on this forum and answering our questions and addressing our issues, showing up at golf days and organising players to be part of it, and new and exciting ideas like the fan forum that gave us unequalled access to address the coaching and admin staff and himself with candid questions.
There is no doubt from me that he has saved the Titans from almost certain death, and it is of grave concern to me that the position of CEO will remain vacant until a "suitable" candidate is found.
Thanks sincerely Mr May for everything you have done for the club, and the level of access and opportunity you have provided to the fans. You have set a benchmark not just at the Titans, and not even just for the NRL, but probably a level that is unparalleled across Australian elite sporting teams.
Well done.
Maybe a hit next week.

I was driving to Brisbane this morning when I heard this and nearly put the car into a ditch.
I cannot add any more to what has been said here already but I am gutted. Just when we think the club is on a consistent upward cycle this happens. I congratulate David for the class he has shown in his comments here since the announcement.
I hope David is leaving for the reasons he has said but the next few months will be the test of that. For me though, the stench of Searle lingers thicker than ever.
