    Default 2012 Betting

How quickly the betting market changes for us

Titans to make the top 8 $15
Titans to win the comp $150

    Todays' market

Titans to make the top 8 $2.75
Titans to win the comp $34

I don't know if we can win the comp but i think we'll give the top 8 a real shake & obviously there has been money to say that we will

I heard Gerrard Daffy from Centrebet on the radio & he believes we are the side from outside the 8 to take a spot in the finals

Rugby League week or at the TAB i think.

I got on $8 to make the 8 about a month ago.

$2.75 is terrible price about us making the 8 when you consider that we need to win 5 of our last 6 to make it. If we do make the 8 from here, you would win a lot more by backing us week to week.

    If we make it:

Putting $100 on now at $2.75 means you win $175.
Putting $100 on us to win every week at an average price of say $1.90 means you win $350 ($90 per week minus $100 for the week where we lose).

$8 is a great price, you shopped well.

$2.75 is a ludicrous price, you'd be better off just backing us H2H each week starting this Friday with the Roosters!!

As Titan Pete points out with Daffy, the $2.75 is a sign that the Bookies are beginning to respect the way we are playing.

But the main reason we are so short would have more to do with the fact that there would be hardly any money on us at all (compared with the Tigers and Warriors who would have met with plenty of support) and the bookies want us to remain a great result for them.

It's entirely possible that the big corporate's are cheering the boys on harder than we are!!

Hi guys, first post although I have been lurking for a long time.
I managed to get on a little bit earlier in the season, through the dark times..
    Top 8 @ $11
Top 4 @ $67 (ok so this one won't pay)
    GF winner @ $126
so still in the hunt for a tidy little return on the top 8.
    Cheers

The Warriors are the disappointment of 2012.

Got on at $6 for the 8 a while back- I thought it was six weeks or thereabouts ago.

I think conventional thinking about getting in the eight is out of the window this year. Right down to 14 can still make it and a number of the dominant top 8 teams have lost their lustre.

This year is going to be pretty exciting down to the last round I think.
I love Aiden Sezer so much I made his profile pic my avatar.
