Default 'We?ve still got six games to go' says Prince

Jetstar Gold Coast Titans captain Scott Prince says that his side won?t get too caught up in the hype following their 14-10 victory over the Brisbane Broncos at Skilled Park on Friday night.
It was tough Titans who defended their way to victory in the local derby, with an eight point Luke Bailey try putting them too far in front of the Broncos to chase down.

Prince said that despite the win, there is still plenty of football to be played this year.
?It?s good, but we?ve still got six games to go though,? Prince said after the game.
?It was just a good team performance, played for the full 80.
?Like we expected the Broncos compete on everything, it?s just two points in the bag and move on to next week now.?
Prince said that the play involving fullback Will Zillman and David Mead just shows the skill level that is on show in the Gold Coast backline.
?I could sort of sniff out that (Zillman) was looking for a little chip there, and I was hoping Zilly was flying,? he said.
?I guess it was very fortuitous.
?Zilly was outstanding again tonight, he backed up from last week?s performance.
?Our back three have been really exciting for the last two months of football, so you feed off that.?

Coach John Cartwright said that prop Luke Bailey was again outstanding, in particular on his kick-chase.
?He just gets better and better and better with age,? Cartwright said.
?He?s a freak, you just wind him up and he keeps going until he drops. It takes a lot for him to drop.?
?He just realises the importance of those things (kick-chase).
?Not only to that play, or that moment, but to what it does to the rest of the team.?

Having quite a few senior players in our team will help us progress in this competition & keep the younger guys feet on the ground to give the top 8 a shake..

^ Good point. Coupled with the younger player's desire to make a maiden finals appearance should hopefully lead to something special.
