I think the big problem with Kevvy's haircut is that it's not a mullet, it's not a rats tail. Hell I'm not sure it's even a hair cut. Perhaps his barber / stylist has narcolepsy and had a bit of a nod off half way through the job. Surely you don't walk in and say please cut it EXACTLY like this.

And the fact that it's not really one, but not the other either is just non commital. And it's a lack of commitment that has been a sticking point for the Titans over the last couple of years. Is it possible that our collective fortunes are tied to the energy being generated by that haircut? Perhaps someone needs to hold him down and give him a haircut with structure which will see us tke a Melbourne-esque approach to future games?

That is a fine hypothesis JH ... in fact it should be bottled ... how anyone else didn't see the link between haircuts and performance is amazing, in hindsight. Just watch all the band-wagoners jump and say that they saw this months ago

I can't see us making the 8 now as much as I would like to. I think the maximum (and unrealistic) points we can pick up is 16. So that is 2 losses only, between now and the end of the season (Storm and Manly). That would give us 30 points which has been good enough in the past but Tigers are 8th and sitting on 18 points and still have a bye. So that makes them 20 points plus we need to leapfog Warriors and Dragons. Warriors is possible, Dragons for and against is terrible so that is a maybe but we have to pray that Tigers crash and burn. As they only require 5 wins from 9 games plus they have the bye I find it extremely unlikely.

Oh.......If we finish equal with them and although we are still 10 weeks away from the end of the season they should get us on for and against as we struggle to score points. i.e. We need to win a game or two by 20+ and hope they don't smash anyone.

Edit.......Mind you I would be extemely happy to be wrong..

Without going into the stats 'n all. There is very little chance of us even knocking on the door, of the top eight, even with our recent turn around with form. I came to that conclusion pretty well straight away after looking at the teams we're up against for the remainder of the season. If we can pick up 2 or 3 wins between now 'n the final round. We should be content with that I feel.

Just to unload that wooden spoon is enough to put a smile on my dial for the 2012 season.
