I couldn't fault his kicking game and he was always the first player there to chase down kicks into NSW's in-goal area.

Dave Taylor's butchering of that try early on had me in hysterics. Poor fella, that must have been embarrassing.

Good heart shown by the Blues, Carney's confidence grew as the game went on and IMO Farrah played exceptional. Looking forward to game 3!

Slater was brave to play on under injury and met the challenge.

If he fails to play Game 3, Barba may come into the picture.

Truth is Id have him over Boyd.

I wouldn't be too cocky lads ... Qld didn't play that badly, Tate grounds the ball and we're 7 straight.

    Talking

At last, something to smile about!

Great game and as usual the Blues couldn't put you Morons...oops sorry, Maroons to the sword. I think we are saving it up to humiliate you blokes at Lang Park! (I hope I don't regret those words...I normally wait until the fat lady is singing before I start bragging)...

On another note, what about Parker's gash!.......I was waiting for a baby to pop out.

I read just now that he will be out for ages. I am not fussed on the guy but you don't want anyone to go through that. Pretty horrific... Doctors aren't even stitching it in case of infection.

Can't wait for Round 3...Go you mighty F#$@kin BLUES!!

Cronks kicking game got better in the second half but put pressure on us in the first 15 minutes...2 of his kicks hit defenders.

The problem was...Cronk was too controlling...Queensland are full of superstars...the more Cronk attacks the less our stars shine.

With one minute to go...scrum on half way...why would Cronk attack the blind with an injured Slater?

The Halves didn't jel and Mal has some work to do.
Smith has a Melbourne habit to look for Cronk every set and Cronk relies on Slater...this is a rep side!

In general, our attack was predictable and well read by NSW
    Ricky on top now!

Not our best game in Origin History. Though I was blown away by Tatey's performance, F#@&$n' Outstanding to say the very least..

He has always given it 110% at Origin time, but last night he shined above any other Maroon. Maybe it's because the rest of the team weren't chirning out the goods as usual. Though I doubt it was that alone..
