Default Sam Thaiday Ruled Out Of Origin Two

Sam Thaiday Ruled Out Of Origin Two
    QRL News | 8/06/2012

XXXX Queensland Maroons forward Sam Thaiday has today been ruled out of Wednesday?s second Harvey Norman State of Origin match in Sydney due to a shoulder injury.

He will be replaced by Broncos teammate Corey Parker.

Thaiday injured his shoulder while playing for the Broncos last weekend. He had hoped it would respond to treatment in the early stages of the Maroons camp.

But after consultation with team medical staff, it was agreed that the injury was not responding to treatment.

?We felt that it was in the best interests of Sam and the team to rule him out today,? said team doctor Roy Saunders.

Thaiday left camp this morning and will now return to the Broncos for further treatment and medical assistance.

Taylor into the starting side surely and if he can get over whatever was wrong last time round then the team will be better for that change. Gillett and Parker are pop-gun forwards if you ask me ... is Te'o not a Qlder? What about Martin Kennedy?

I'm surprised Michael Crocker isn't considered for Origin anymore.
