Our left side defence is still in big trouble and I mean BIG. Idris and Gordon are just easy meat. Gordon because he has lost his flash and Idris because he cannot see his toes.

    Titans beat Knights 24-14

THE Gold Coast Titans have beaten the Knights 24-14 in a strong performance in Newcastle.

The victory gives them back-to-back wins and will be a big boost for morale.

Fullback Will Zillman played strongly setting up Matt Srama for a first half try.

Greg Bird was as dangerous as ever scoring one try and proving a rock in defence.

    More to come.

GOLD COAST 24 (G Bird D Mead N Myles M Srama tries S Prince 4 goals) bt NEWCASTLE 14 (A McKinnon T Roberts A Uate tries T Roberts goal) at Hunter Stadium. Referee: Shayne Hayne, Alan Shortall. Crowd: 15,792.

Wrong thread I know, but for those watching eels dragons after titans game, I thought Leo dynevor was in the 7 for the eels. Then realised it was just sandow who has a bad case of the jamal's.

I didn't see the game but listened to it on AM. Sounded like Newcastle played like under 9's more than Titans playing out of their skins.

Not trying to be Mr negativity, especially after a much needed win, but how bad was Newcastle?
