    Default Bring back the Reserves

SO there is talk about bringing back the Reserves for the curtain raiser for the NRL games, I am all for this, i miss it from the old days, IMO the under 20s is boring to watch.

    Thoughts
This year will be BLUE Go NSW!

I miss it too. Especially when your under 20s are getting hammered! I used to come early to watch the Thirds, Reserves then A grade. It allows you to check the form of prospective first graders in a team environment. The present system of players hopping in and out of Queensland Cup teams isn't conducive to creating team cohesion or building combinations. For the players it must be hard getting any team spirit when your reason for playing well is to get promoted. I don't know what it would do to the Q Cup competition however.

I think it has to happen & it will be much better for the game, highly unlikely we will have 3 grades playing on the same day so the 20's day in the sun may be moved to a different day.

What's with no three games on a day? Not enough fanatics to justify the extra staff costs? As it is gates don't open till the last minute before the start of the 20s. With the cost of a ticket, the greater the value the better.

I'm all for 3 games everyweek but the way the grounds are kept nowadays the ground keepers will not want 3 games being played on them in 1 day, they don't like anyone walking on them

Im all for three games. But adding another game would significantly add to the venue costs.
