Default Round 6: Gold Coast Titans vs Sydney Roosters

They were impressive for the first 30 minutes, but they need to play the full 80,they are going to be playing the Roosters this week, and personally i would make a few changes but i wanted to see other people's opinions as well. i believe Cartwright has improved in his attacking plays but needs work on his selecting process. Let's assume Idris, Bird, White and Lawton are injured,
1.Zillman (last week i would of cut him but he did well)
    2.Gordan
3.Peyroux (he is a center not a winger and if i was coach i would'nt put Michaels against SKD)
    4.Champion (right center)
    5.Graham (safe option)
    6.Sezer
    7.Prince
    8.Bailey
    9.Srama
    10.Douglas
    11.Myles
    12.Thompson
    13.Harrison

    ---------------------------
    14.Lawrence
    15.Minichiello (he's a bench player, nothing more)
    16.Ridge (great work ethic)
    17.Rankin (he's good enough for the 17, probably not 6 or 7)
    -----------------------------
    18.O'Dwyer
    19.Henderson

20.Dowling (great versatility, more diverse than kurt gidley)

    I like it.

    for rd 6.

I think long term we need to start thinking about playing Srama at halfback with Sezer, and i would move Gordon to fullback.

Srama reminds me alot of Cronk, great defense, good footy brain. He has a decent kicking game also.

Gordon over Zillman at the back. Zilly has no idea how to position himself in attack. He does not get involved enough for me, and i would move him to center fulltime.

Its about time we give Gold Coasters a go, boys that have made there debut with the club.

    1. Gordon
    6. Sezer
    7. Srama
    9. Lawton

I like your side also Mole
Your right about Peyroux at centre and Graham is a good option on the wing.
I like your inclusion of Sezer even though I haven't seen him play...more of a curious entry as no-one has fed our centres quality ball.

What's your side if all players were back including James?

Not defending Zillman here...but has any Titans fullback positioned himself properly in attack?
I love to see what plays the put on at training

Pesto was probably the best we had but didn't develop any further under Carty.
We need to compare to the fullbacks running around today...they're all dangerous in attack.
I've seen how dangerous Zillman can be playing straight or around the ruck.
He's doesn't seem natural sweeping around the back out wide.
I think he has a different style but I still have doubts over Carty's teachings.

I rewatched the game again and the options from dummy half was the main difference between the successful periods in the game and the periods where we did very little.

It was clear as day that Sramas options were much better, he was harder for the defence to read and his passing was alot better.

I think Zillmans play is a result of team play, more so Coaching staffs teachings.

Didn't Lawton injure his hamstring anyway? If we're still gonna use 2 hookers then who would the second be providing Lawton doesn't play?

Im not a fan of Champions. I think Zillman's best position is centre.

Move Kevin to #1 and Graham at win as well.

I'd persist with Prince at halfback. But would love to see Sezer at 6 soon.

Bird did pretty well yesterday, hope he pulls up ok!

This is not just about set plays, its about every single aspect of being a fullback.

how does everyone else rate him atm.

    Support play -
    Creating overlap -
    Positioning for kicks -
    Catching on the full -
    Organising defense -
    Leadership -
    set Plays -
    Try stopping ability -
