The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans and Premier Partner iSelect have launched what is believed to be a world first ticketing initiative for Saturday?s clash against the Storm at Skilled Park which will see fans offered a free ticket to the club?s next home game if the team does not celebrate a win.
The iSelect ?Home Win Guarantee?? creates a ?win-win? situation for Titans fans, with those that attend the Storm match at Skilled Park either celebrating a victory with their team or given free tickets to the club?s next assignment against the Bulldogs in Round 5 (Sunday, April 1).
It is believed to be the first time in sporting history that such a ?win guarantee? has been made by a sporting organisation or one of its major sponsors.
The promotion, which will act as a one-off for this weekend?s match, is open to only fans who have paid for a ticket in the general seating bowl to this Saturday?s home match against the Storm.
The concept is the brainchild of iSelect Chief Marketing Officer David May, who passionately felt the club needed more support in the stands from the Gold Coast community to start the 2012 season.
?We?re excited about the Titans. They had a great off-season, a fantastic win against the Cowboys, and we?re now looking forward to a win against the Storm,?? said May.
?The iSelect Home Win Guarantee is about us working with the Gold Coast community and backing the Titans to beat the Storm. We might be from Melbourne, but we?re backing the Titans to win.??
Jetstar Titans Managing Director Michael Searle said it was exciting to see the club?s sponsors showing their passion for the club with such an innovative concept.
?This is a unique ?win-win? situation for everyone that will hopefully encourage more fans to get to the game on Saturday to cheer on their team,?? said Searle.
?The team is working hard both on and off the field and it is innovative solutions like this that can provide comfort for fans in the knowledge that we are all in this together.
?We understand that some fans simply cannot afford to go to the football on a regular basis so hopefully an offer like this will encourage them to do so because they will either be celebrating a win or coming back again in two weeks time.?
The Titans take on the Storm at 4.30pm (QLD time) on Saturday, with gates opening at 2.10pm prior to the kick-off in the Under-20s curtain raiser at 2.15pm.
