    Thumbs up Nate Myles marries

Soap starlet James weds her rugby star

HOME and Away golden girl Tessa James has married her NRL star partner, Nate Myles, in a sunny Melbourne ceremony.

The pair, who have been honeymooning in Byron Bay, wed before family and friends in the gardens at The Gables reception centre in Malvern East on December 23.

The young starlet, who sold her story and wedding snaps to New Idea, couldn't contain her joy over marrying her husband-to-be.

"I am so very, very lucky to have Nate in my life. And it was the best day," she told the magazine.

Tessa, 20, covered the "something old, something new" tradition, wearing a family heirloom blue brooch in her hair, and a cross sewn into her lace gown.

More than 150 guests attended the reception at Tessa's family home in Hawthorn, including Home and Away stars Esther Anderson, Samara Weaving and Jodi Gordon.

The groom, who is playing for Gold Coast Titans this season, gushed about his bride during speeches. "Honest to God, I tell her every day how lucky I am to have her and I will always love her to death. I don't think I could love anyone as much as I do her," he said.

NRL players Mitchell Pearce, Willie Tonga, Jake Friend, Reni Maitua, Todd Carney and Petero Civoniceva attended along with Dragons coach Steve Price and former Bulldog Adam Perry.

Congratulations Nate and Tessa. All the best for your future together!

Should put him in a great frame of mind for 2012.

Karnage, you're a bad man, you could've at least coined the "women's monthlies" expression as for the blushing groom, it appears he'll run out a little lighter this season.
