Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens has announced a squad of 21 players for the trial match against a combined Group 4 representative side at Kitchener Oval, Gunnedah, on Friday, January 27, 2006.

CONFUSION over tug of war centre Ryan McGoldrick has led to his omission from the Wests Tigers squad for a trial game leading into their World Club Challenge.

As expected, injuries have led to star performer Benji Marshall and Dene Halatau to miss the trial match against a combined Group 4 side in Gunnedah on January 27.

It will be the Tigers' only match in a drastically abbreviated preparation for the club challenge.
