With Titans withdrawing their offer for Boyd and Campbell talking about going around for another year, I wonder what they have in mind for the spine of the team for next year.
With Boyd it would have looked like:

9. ? - (Srama / Lawton / Gower / Watts)
Now:
1. Campbell (replaced by Barba in 2013)
6. Zilly
7. Prince
9. ? - (Srama / Lawton / Gower / Watts)
or
1. Zilly

9. ? - (Srama / Lawton / Gower / Watts)

Yep, me too and I think Presto possibly wanting to stay on and Titans saying they withdrew Boyd's offer actually came hand in hand. I think Boyd has always been going to Newcastle and his manager has been boosting his value and the Titans only withdrew once they knew there was no chance of getting him to the Titans. As a result I think they have asked Campbell to play on for another year with the aim of chasing Barba in 2013. Originally Posted by Rage

Gower would not be too bad, his kicking out of dummy should be first class.
How many tackles and or missed tackles would be the sticking point as to wether he would be the right fit.
I do not know the best fit for Zillman yet, 5/8 could be his spot.
as melbourne have shown the spine is what it is all about.
