very strong defensive side, Esi finally gets his chance albeit on the wing, I tihnk he will shine, Bodene in the centres must be a tactical ploy by carty surely not longterm, but gee not many holes to find in our defence with that side

Brown is not really an 80min player Campbell will come on at hooker.

Let's just say that team is good for Prince He has a few staunch blokes all around him this week

Esi is the natural centre and Michaels is the natural winger.

He should still be playing about 60 minutes, Brown has plenty more to offer at hooker than Preston.

Its more likely they will lecture me on him being a left centre cause that's where he got dusted from.

Best looking side since the first finals game last year.

Wouldn't be suprised if Tonga spent time in the centers anyway & hopefuly Bodene will feed some good ball for Mead!

yeh, i see tonga n micheals swapping alot.
mmmm i would drop white for meyers
never been a fan of him
bird to 5/8 is the right move, with the amount of 2nd rowers we have. even more boof to the front row?

I think our rotation works well. White maybe should be coming off the bench though, he was one of our best last year.

Without a doubt we need the big red in the 17 though.

I'm pretty happy with the team selection for this week. Carty had to make changes and he did. We all know Thompson will be rock solid in defense, but I also think he has the potential to turn into a destructive runner at the same time. For those who doubt this, look at his run off the scrum that put capewell away against the Storm. I'd prefer to see Tonga in the centres.

Bodene is there to be Princeys minder in defence, this is why in my line up I had Tagataese as an option. Tomanes defence might not be up to covering himself and prince.

Bird is and will be good in the 6.
It is now that Capewell & Campbell will fight out to be in the #17 jersey for the rest of the year, they offer the same and with bird at 5/8 we eill need 1 of them as a utility.

    Hmm,

I cant see how we can score a try inside the 20 zone, unless from a kick.

I would rather a playmaker at 5/8 then another hole runner, but this side has been chosen to compensate for certain things which should be fixed by the player, and not the club.

Im not impressed, but will be there cheering them on regardless, and hopefully effort alone will get us the 2 points.

Happy enough with this side but echo some of the comments posted regarding Thompson's suitability in the centres and Capewell's axing. I just hope it's Henderson that gets the cut ... Tagataese offers at least some coverage in the backs where we may need it.

Does anybody rate Srama over Brown? I think 9 has been a big issue.

Coaster you're spot on ... we are the champions of one-dimensionality.
