Here is a thread for the big game... And it is going to be a tough one, Hennat and Hodges might be back as well.

I really don't know what to expect on Friday but I know what I want to see. And I am confident we will turn the season around after our worst performance in our history yesterday.

I retract last nights post for a new lineup
I think our forward pack will be good enough, persist with our halves and put some fresh strike into our centers - maybe something like this:

    1. Zillman
    2. Walker
    3. Tagatese\Tonga
    4. Mead
    5. Tomane
    6. Capewell
    7. Prince
    8. Bailey
    9. Brown
    10. White
    11. Bird
    12. Thompson
    13. Harrison

    14. Campbell
    15. Laffranchi
    16. James
    17. Minichielo

Tough decisions for Carty after last nights performance, there should be enough motivation for the boys to make amends for that - let alone facing the Donkeys.
The girl from the ring watched a highlights reel of Greg Bird, she died 7 days later.....

Crying shame about Kev if it turns out to be a long term injury. I like the team posted above however I think Carty will be conservative especially with the Gordon injury and only replace him wig either Tonga or Tomane. I dont think Shannon Walker will be an option on the wing although Zillman could be moved there to accommodate him.

    1. Zillman / Walker
    2. Tomane / Zillman
    3. Mead
    4. Tonga
    5. Michaels
    6. Capewell
    7. Prince
    8. Bailey
    9. Lawton
    10. Henderson
    11. Bird
    12. Thompson
    13. Harrison
    14. Laffranchi / White
    15. Minichiello
    16. James / Tagataese
    17. Campbell

Geese are the ultimate team players.

If Walker plays, I'd be playing Zillman and Tomane on the wings with Michaels left right out. I think Zillman will play and Michaels will be retained in the centres but I can only live in hope.

    I say again...

    1. Zillman
    2. Tonga
    3. Tomane
    4. Toopi
    5. Mead
    6. Bird
    7. Prince
    8. Bailey
    9. Brown
    10. Meyers
    11. Thompson
    12. Minichiello
    13. Harrison

    14. James
    15. Laffranchi
    16. Tagataese
    17. Campbell

Allows Campbell to play at 5/8 in a rotation with Bird.

If we persist with Capewell, Campbell should be omitted.

Its going to be an interesting game. Who knows which team is going to show up. Broncs full of confidence after the Canberra trip, Titans who really have to lift and show what they are capable of.... this should be another top-class local derby, and the Titans certainly have everything to play for.

Currently titans are sitting in 16th place on the ladder :-( Don't remember us being out of the 8 for so long let alone on the bottom end of it! I am sure that will be enough as well as watching some of last nights perfomance to kick start our boys into action. Is Boof back for this one??? I thought rd 3 was a possibility for him. Will be interesting to see what Carty does when the team is announced on Tuesday.

Yea we have always started every year strongly. Only to fade due to injuries.

We have never actually sucked before and it is scary to see alot of critics retract their tips that we would make the finals. Not saying that we suck yet though, it is just two games.

But they will all eat their words...

I think its more logical to have Michaels shift to wing and Esi to his preferred left centre. He played really well yesterday and is only a bees thingy away from forcing his way into the team. Michaels played alright yesterday and is a consisitent performer over the last 5 weeks. Fast and strong runner who will get more go forward metres from kick returns.

I would love Shannon in the team but unless something drastic happens Carty wont put him in for Zilly

    No retracting from me.

Still a dynamite team which hasnt had its fuse lit yet.

I might tip against them this week though so they actually win

LOL, this is exactly what i was thinking. I suck at tipping anyway, so if tipping against them can work, I'm happy to do it every round!
