After such a courageous win to the Titans over Canberra, finally winning without Friend and in Canberra. And without our key players Scott Prince, Ashley Harrison and Nathan Friend, as well as a late injury to Preston.

It's time to look forward to the Cowboys v Titans match this Friday!!

If Prince is unable to play this week, do we need to bring in a specialist goal kicker?

Will no Presto mean we carry Capewell on the bench? He would be great impact off the bench and provides good backline coverage. I still want to see Bird and Thompson in the pack and some more speed out wide but the defence has been pretty good out there so it may be about getting the right balance and attacking after the initial 20 minutes of a match. With 2 forwards in the backline to start surely we can carry some speed on the benches to carve up in the late stages of the first half and throughout the second. It would also be like the opposition was playing against two teams on the same day. It would require control and discipline to pull it off but the results would be spectacular. Bring Mead off the bench for Thompson (start with Tomane on that wing) and Campbell for Bird and watch us pile on some points.

Geese are the ultimate team players.

Pretty sure he was suspended for 4 or 5 matches only last week so he won't be travelling

Tomane would be handy asset in the goal kicking department if Prince is out.

I have an inkling that Capewell can kick goals too. Not sure where that comes from, but it is unusual for us to have a dearth of kicking options after having. Delaney, Chris Walker, Prince, Campbell, Rogers in the past.

Capewell is a goal kicker along with Joe Vickery

I think it is time to Bring Tomane in.
I like the look of this side.

    1 W.Zillman
    2 S.Michaels
    3 E.Tonga
    4 J.Tomane
    5 D.Mead
    6 G.Bird
    7 S.Prince
    8 L.Bailey
    9 N.Friend
    10 M.White
    11 A.Laffranchi
    12 B.Thompson
    13 A.Harrison

    14 M.Minichello
    15 R.James
    16 B.Ridge
    17 L.Capewell/ R.Brown

Still offers the same dimensions, add Brown if Friend can not play the full 80, otherwise use Capewell.
Ridge deserves to keep his spot in the 17, i think he did great.
I hope Carty gives Tomane a shot.

Would people really want Willie Tonga doing a round 2 on Tomane ?!

He schooled him last year. Bodene hasnt been playing bad so I doubt he will replace him.
